Was just passing throught Yakima, and the Red Lion was the best option in town. Affordable and friendly staff, I didn't arrive until around midnight, but that didn't seem to bother them in the least. They actually have a fun late night restaurant called Johnny's attached to the hotel. Clean rooms and located right next to the Yakima Convention Center. They don't have a continental breakfast, but the restaurant and room service menu for breakfast is a good one.

Very friendly, clean, and well furnished. Dining room was not terribly appealing.

Red Lion must have "pity rooms" which is where we were placed. I have had better accommodations with "cheap" hotels. Their was a coffee pot, hair dryer and a TV. No internet, little fridge, microwave, vcr, or dvd access. No hot tub. Swim pool outside, it is winter. They have a "business" area. That is one computer, with printer. I appreciate that, but, just one. I felt lucky to be able to access it as this is a large motel. Wireless access, or plug in access in the rooms are appreciated. If I need to stay in Yakima again, I will seek different arrangements

The service was awesome, I checked into the hotel around 1030pm, I was dead tired, all dirty because I ride a bike and the girl was awesome! The rooms do need some updating though, which is happening now! Friendly, awesome Front desk and other workers

we enjoyed- it- had to move rooms- broken air conditioning and bath tub not draining- second room no drainage either.

Bed was comfortable. We stayed in the newer rear building and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the accommodations, although our expectations were low to begin with. Beds were comfortable and internet access was fine. Plenty of hot water in shower. We would stay there again if we were traveling to Yakima.

I recently stayed at the Red Lion and it was great, rooms are newly renovated. Big Rooms, Great Beds, Very bright and warm. I was surprised to find two pools, a nice bar and great food. We will be back, the staff was great!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought the location was closer to Yakima's historic district, which is more my mistake. My room only had a shower, no tub. And I was in town to do some hiking, so being able to sit and soak after would have been nice. My room -- all, perhaps -- had an outside entrance and felt more "motor inn" than hotel. The staff was friendly, though I didn't have a ton of interaction. I think I was just expecting more. I've paid less for better accomodations in the same town.

Large bathtub, room was cool. A/C noise, dirty floor, no shampoo, no complementary continental breakfast.

Highly overpriced! Falling apart. Very small, coffee pot sits over sink. Dirty. Only stayed because we had driven 12 hours

The Red Lion was a great hotel in a location with good points of interest nearby. Had a nice little terrace and easy to get around.

The beds were just great, I was over for a convention and slept like a baby. Hallways are a little dark, but outside is wonderful

I've stayed at this hotel before and it is consistently a very good experience.

Good location, clean, nice front desk staff. Exterior room entrances.

Nicely located on a major street; good cable TV selection; andadequate linens. Getting a bit dated; somewhat detached front desk; didn't replace paper towels in men's bathroom off the lobby after I mentioned it twice. This is a decent motel that is well located on a major street. Getting a bit dated in its decor, but has adequate room amenities, especially the cable TV. Mattress was OK. Needs front desk attendants who know the local restaurants.

Good location, friendly and helpful staff, clean. No options to order in-room movies, no free breakfast. This hotel is conveniently located to downtown Yakima stores and the freeway. It is quiet and has friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and updated, and parking is free. This is no complimentary breakfast, but there is a restaurant in the hotel lobby.

Good location. Heat problems, no indoor pool andnot enough hot water.
