In the room The heater blower is very noise. The ice machine was broken and I needed to walked at night until third floor to get some ice. The staff by front desk they don?t have enough information about companies for out side activities. I asked some question they did give me any information just thay said ?sorry I don?t know, but can try to find by internet? and for me is not a good answer for that kind of Hotel. I have a problem to go into the room because the keycard did not work , I went front desk, and we try some times and finally after time they gave me a master key to go into the room. Housekeeping service was very good. The location is very nice, then, they need to work to improve their service?..

Staff friendly, room and bath, clean, Room #576 is huge, fifth floor had good views, River side would be best for view. building shows substantial use, The tape on the windows closing air gaps is "tacky" at best. Bed was quite comforable, large flat panel TV. Drab color on walls, If they painted with better colors the room would be much more cheery. three stars out of five for the tower. They also have a two level building to the north that the rooms are nice. I almost would prefer one of the 2nd floor rooms to the north. Resturant next door was fine for breakfast. Hotel provided a 15% coupon for resturant. Have never used it for supper.

Easy to find when traveling in an unfamiliar place and close by are many restraunts, walmart and gas stations easy freeway access as well. The hotel staff at night was very friendly but disliked the unprofessional day staff. Also some of the rooms are in the main tower and others are located away from the main building wich can be an inconvienece. The room was nice and comfortable.

Our family traveled through Idaho Falls over the Thanksgiving holiday. We had called several hotels in Idaho falls and then our sone found a great deal on online travel website. Computers are great. We booked at the Red Lion hotel. When we checked in we were greated by a happy desk clerk who smiled from start to finish while dealing with us. Our room which overlooked the waterfalls was very spacious and clean. All though the pool was closed for the season, the staff made recomendations for our family and we visited the Museum of Idaho. We will come back to the Red Lion in Idaho Falls time and time again.

we chose the red lion because we knew it's good name as we have one in our area and it is swanky. the room charge was the most expensive of all, but we thought it would be worth it. when we got there (3 hours after check in) our room wasn't ready. we had to wait in the lobby. then when we finally got in, there were all kinds of dirty sheets and towels all along the hallway - nice. the maid went by and seemed not happy and said it was one heck of a day. i tried to call my sister (who was watching our house) to let her know we were there, but the phones werent working. we went to the lobby to tell them to turn them on, they said the hole system crashed. the carpets were dirty - i didn't even want to take my shoes off. the over-all look of the hotel was dirty, and very run down. the best thing about it was the fabulous view we had. we actually wanted to check out and get a clean hotel, but the view was the best by far. it even had a balcony, which was dirty (of course) and flaky painted scarily shaky railing. but no chairs for which to enjoy the great view. we were so dissapointed.

Nothing, It was an awful room for the price. The room was awful, small, not very clean. Would never stay again! The room was awful, smelled bad, very small for the price we paid. Bad experience. Would recommend people not to stay here!

We were travelling all day long and were very tired, when we got to the Red Lion in Idaho Falls the first employee we met there said good evening. Then we got to the front desk and wow the service there was beyond anything we had experienced on our whle trip. The clerk was very attentive to our needs and made us feel like we were finally at home. THe best part was when we got to our room. Wow huge and very clean. THey have a great housekeeping department, we stayed for three nights and each day our room was made up perfectly. We also had an awsome view of the mountains. Thank You Red Lion for making our trip a success.

Location. Ants in the first room, had to change, no continental breakfast. Staff, ants in first room, imply lack of cleanliness, attention to details. Heard noise all night long in the room we had.

When my family and I arrived to the hotel, the staff made our whole experience very wonderful. For once we found five star service at a three star price. We will definatly be back.

Although the Facility is under Extensive Remodel, The Staff and Management made my stay very confortable. The Front Desk Staff was very speedy in my Check in and Check out making sure I was taken care of in a timely Manner. The room was very clean with no housekeeping issues. The newly Remodeled Fitness Room/Spa looked fantastic. With a beautiful View of the Falls which complemented my stay made my visit to Idaho Falls worth it's while. On check-out the staff at the front desk was again speedy and didn't waste any time to help me get on my way as well as giving me excellent directions to my next destination. Overall, It was a fantastic stay and I highly Reccomend this hotel to anybody staying in the area.

This is NOT a four or even three and probably not even two star Motel. Paint pealing, Mortar dropping of the walls, Musty smelling,Terrible bed with airline type mini pillows. No closet, No hangers, Styrofoam cups. They have the timerity to list it at $* per nite. $* would be overpriced. You would do better to go to a Motel Six.

Friendly staff, clean room, excellent view of the falls. The parking lot should have had the snow plowed. We checked in at 4:30 pm the the desk clerk was funny and friendly, check in was a breeze. I did have an issue with our room key not working on the spa/fitness center but after asking the desk the guy told us it was to keep children out that were unattended, or that could get hurt. He gave us a card key for just the spa/fitness room which worked just fine. I would definitely stay here again a very nice stay.
