The hotel is located in the historical centre of the town, in the vicinity of Prague Castle, overlooking the Royal Route. Prague Castle is located just 400 m from the hotel. Prague Ruzyne Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 14 km.
Facilities
An ancient Burgher house in the historical centre of Prague, the first written records of this house date back to the 15th century. The well preserved cellar rooms, presently housing a restaurant, are from the Gothic period. The Renaissance can be appreciated in the original painted beam ceilings of both the public premises and the guest rooms, whilst the entrance portal reminds of the Baroque reconstruction of the house. The facade is of great interest also due to its relation to Peter Brandl, a famous 17th century altar painter who was born and lived in the house. All further adaptations implied new architectural elements, with Classicism also playing an important feature. Comprising a total of 8 guest rooms, the property features a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a breakfast room and wireless Internet access. For additional fees, guests may make use of the room and laundry services, as well as the bicycle hire.
