we took this trip to have a weekend to our selves and it was great. The room was great, and sound proof. At the beginning the clerk charged us twice at check in even after we had shown that we had already paid for the room. We did not let that bother us and later took care of the employees error. We had a great time and are looking forward in staying there again.

Nice furnishings and clean. No continental breakfast, terrible receptionist. We came in expecting queen or king bed, were given two small beds by same girl that asked us last week if we wanted a king bed. When we asked for another room she got smart with us. Hotel was nearly empty with about 20 cars in lot, but she put people above us that made noise from 11:30pm until 1am. Why put latecomers next door or above when hotel is almost empty?

This was my first time staying in a Red Lion hotel, and I must say I was totally impressed. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they really seemed to genuinely care. The room was clean and nicely furnished. And the bed, WOW. Most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. Needless to say I will make this my hotel of choice in Boise.

The Red Lion was a very comfortable motel, the room was clean but somewhat in need of maintainance;ie. stained and worn carpet. My check in was very slow dye to lack of staffing: only one clerk to answer phone and complete check-in while trying to deal with housekeeping. When we went to use the pool it was not open.

Very nice hotel - would stay there again. No breakfast, 12oz sodas were 1.25.

I was given a room on the second floor right over the entry to the hotel. I opened the shades to see the view of Boise and all I could see was this big glass thing on top of the entry. I went and asked to please be put in a room were I had a view of Boise I wanted to see out my window. I was put on the third floor and the only thing I could see was the other wing of the hotel less than 15 feet away from my window. I could not see the sky or anything. I wanted to be able to see the skyline of Boise but this trip I guess I was not going to be able to. I will not stay in this hotel again. The other problem is if you do not now your way around it can be hard to find the parking lot with the roads. The room itself was great. I liked the hotel itself but was very disappointed in the view that I was given.

This Hotel is very nice, the pool is comfortable along with the beds/rooms. everything you need is on the premises. The food is decent , and the staff was great except for the woman from Human rescources who was subbing in for food and beverage. She was very mean to us. Nice gym.

Hotel carpet dirty and bumpy, scratchy sheets, disgusting pool and hot tub.

The beds were small and uncomfortable. The beds were small and uncomfortable and the sheets felt Grimm.

Room was clean and attractive. Only had two double beds as an option. This is an older hotel that has undergone a recent remodel. Room was, clean and well-appointed.

The double beds were very small. We enjoy getting this hotel because it was close to relatives and it was also a nice place to stay.

Dirty smelly rooms, bad customer service, bad housekeeping. This hotel had a stain left on the sheets and had not been changed from previous occupant. The room they put me in after I complained was clear across the hotel, and smelled like a bar. Had to sleep with the window open all night to try and not smell the cigarette smoke. I have never been so disgusted in a hotel, I wouldn't let them pay me to stay there next time.

Beds, hot tub and coffee. Selection o TV,channels were poor. Comfortable, friendly, safe and user friendly.

Close to downtown Boise. Too loud, sliding glass door lock not very secure. I would definitely not rate this hotel as a three star hotel. The pool was very functional but had no resort type feel to it. The workout room was nice, but fairly small and only had a few things. The strip bar environment across the street was not peaceful or safe feeling late at night.

Great location, friendly staff. Clean comfortable room. Great mattress. The hotel meet or exceeded my expectations. It was easy to find, the room was comfortable and the bed was great.
