Worked for Red Lion many years ago.Red lion still has a great reputation. Some family members has stayed there several times over the years.We were having a family reunion at the Tumalo State Park. Needed a hotel to accomendate us both financially and with a convenient location to the park. We will stay there again. The Staff at this Red Lion are Great. Love sitting by the pool for the 4th of July fireworks.

I was pretty impressed with the Red Lion of Bend. For starters, there are not many motels that will let you book one night on a holiday. We generally stay with my husband's family, but his father was very ill and a family member had offered their home to us for the holidays, but we had to wait until they left on their vacation, which was Christmas Day. The booking was easy, the front desk help was very nice and he gave us a coupon for 25% off our next visit. The room was clean and they allow dogs - we had our Shiz Tsu with us. The charge was onnly 10.00 for the night, considering that we were quoted as much as 30.00 a night for our pet! And the cincher for us was that the heat was on, the room was cozy warm...............the temp outside was 20F. Thank you to the Red Lion for making our stay homey. We will be back, and we will tell everyone we know about them!

The front desk staff were always asking if they could help, need ideas, need directions, ready to do whatever we needed to make our stay the best possible. The room was absolutely the cleanest I have ever stayed in! Was a great get away for myhusband and I. A Black Bear Dinner next door! Now that is good for families. The Hotel breakfast inclued Egg/Sausage Burrito.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, easy parking, nice pool and hot tub - no sauna as advertised. Big Bear restaurant on the property was nice, had good service, but we had 4 people, 4 different meals, tasted every dish and EVERY dish was not edible. We had to leave almost all of our meals.

The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The coffee and tea in the room were of good quality. I loved that the soaps and lotions were from Bath and body.

Paid extra for an upgraded room. Lovely room, very quiet, everything clean and fresh looking---but the carpet smelled of mildew. This room was adjacent to the swimming pool but I think the carpet just needed to be replaced--Perhaps it had some previous water damage. Manager said carpet replaced 1 1/2 years ago but it needs attention now.

They gave me a private, quiet room in the corner. Youth football team monopolized the pool, which was small. Great location, friendly staff, in house breakfast was excellent (egg and cheese burritos with add your own sausages, make your own waffles, cereal, apples, bananas, juices, yogurts.

only room I have EVER stayed in where the air conditioner was in The BATHROOM... very dumb!! Needs an elevator to second floor where half of the rooms are located up a steep staircase impossible for seniors to drag heavy bags up, so 1st floor rooms go fast

Bed. Things falling apart and or not working at all! Pools, hot tubs an all other public fact did not work well if at all and the restaurant was not very clean. They did have much better food then what I was expecting!

The Red Lion was very comfortable and affordable... the room was very nicely updated and the beds were quite comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice and there were many different breakfast items to choose from. The bathroom had more than sufficient room and counter space - however, both the vanity outside the bathroom and the bathroom didn't provide the best lighting for applying make-up. Great stay and very friendly staff!

Recently updated. The room we had was lovely. Marble counter tops, tile in bathroom, all in rich earth tone colors. Very nice furniture and rich looking bedspreads and matching curtains! Room was very quiet as well. The compfort of the beds were wonderful!Slept great. Close to downtown and shopping, plus every restaurant you could imagine. The only negative was that I was never able to connect to the wireless internet.
