The Front Desk Staff were very friendly and processed our chek-in in a timely, efficient manner.

It was close to the highway and the staff was nice and helpfull. The pool was not in service. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very helpful. I would recommend staying there to friends and family and I will keep it in mind for my next stay in Denver.

The hotel is well located for the business that I had, but while it was renovated it was dirty and smelled mildew-ish. Beds were fine, staff was fine. Everything was fine -- not bad, yet nothing to brag about.

The one thing the hotel had to offer was shuttle service from the hotel to the airport. The hotel really didn't offer much else. It seems most hotels that have restaurants in them offer a simple continental breakfast. This hotel did not offer that.

We attended a softball tournament. So the location was great, able to jump on the freeway and be at different parks in a short amount of time.

The lobby area was clean and large. The room really needed renovation, bathroom door would not even close.

This hotel has been remodeled over the last year or so, and it is sooooooooooo much better! Good restaurant, great, quiet rooms, awesome beds! The staff was really friendly too. The only complaint I had was that there was no hot water in the morning for a shower. I will definately stay there again!

At first, we saw the Red Lion Hotel off of the freeway...it's external appearance is quite nice, the lobby and bar area are lovely.......then when we checked in, we had very unhappy, dull, uninviting personnel checking us in. We went to our first room....it looked like an old Motel 6....wallpaper rips, marks on the walls, flat beds with drab, smelly comforters, missing lightbulb in one of the lamps, fire alarm was all messed up. We asked to be relocated. They accomodated us and then us to another floor. Again we moved to another room, but it was smokey smelling. On our fourth try, we got a sufficient room but it still wasn't that good.

Very nice hotel for the price. The lobby was impressive and the rooms were modern, large, and clean. We didn't use room service or other services but the restaurant had a good buffet breakfast at a reasonable price. The only drawback was that our Garmin couldn't direct us to the entrance correctly. It took us to Vaughn Way but then told us to make a right turn to get back on Parker rather than go straight ahead to the entrance on Vaughn Way. Maybe you should consider changing the address to a Vaughn Way number since the address is on Vaughn Way.

Quiet. Unclean room, uncomfortable bed, poor access. This hotel was rated 3 stars. I have stayed at comfort inns at 1 stars that were better! The bathroom was small, No fan, The bathroom lighting was florescent and dirty with both grime and dead bugs in the light shields, along with grime and cigarette stains down the walls.Grime and dirt also behind the desk and dresser, when we were looking for a plug. Usually a 3 star hotel has a fridge at least, but no luck. The bed was supposedly a premium pillow top, but actually was a sleep number bed, that had a faulty remote control, with a hole in the mattress which we found out at 4 am, when we woke to a deflated bed on one side. No extra pillows or bedding/blankets avail in the room, and the noise from the window A/C fan was so loud that we had to turn the TV up to 50 on volume to hear above it. Hotel pool was closed for renovations, which disappointed us but glad we weren't on the first floor as some of those guests were complaining about the jackhammering below their room at 8am while they were working on the pool. Poor access to this location also was challenging. Thin, scratchy sheets not what I would expect from a 3 star hotel. I definitely wouldnot recommend this to anyone else.

Room was clean. Bathroom bigger than our one the previous hotel (at twice the price). Getting into the parking lot was complicated for an out of town driver. Wait person in the Aspen Cafe was very friendly and courteous. Would stay again.

Airline put us up here because of plane malfunction. With 10 pieces of luggage from 3 weeks travel took shuttle to hotel on a shuttle with last seat while United airline workers took first 6 rows in shuttle. Hotel checked airline people in first then those customers waylaid from destination like us. Female clerk had bad attitude. Checked into an uncleaned room w/unmade bed, opened beer bottles, left-over food, and a trashed bathroom. 2 workers refused to change rooms. Front desk manager apathetically changed our rooms. Got off airplane around 6:30 p.m. and finally got a room appropriate enough to stay in just before 11:00 p.m. My 12 yr.old son was exhausted from pulling his 3 of our 10 pieces of luggage. Fell down on lobby sofa and nearly fell asleep while hotel clerk shrugged indifferently. 2 clerks to check in people (at least 6 in line ahead of me). One customer w/airline voucher seemed as frustrated as me when he and his son checked in. Later found 2 others disgruntled w/inconveniences hotel employers had put on them when they checked in. Meeting a REAL LION might be a better option than staying at this RED LION!!!

This Hotel surprised me. The location did not appear to be the best, but the staff and the rooms overall were very good.

I found this hotel to have a great location right next to light rail in Denver. Also - there is a great state park across the street to walk in.

This hotel is very difficult to access as the surrounding roads are both large and confusing. The lobby and main floor look very nice and we checked in easily. The sleep number beds are good for one person, not more. In the bathroom, the soap dish was falling out of the wall and there was traces of mold growing around the sink. Gum was stuck to the headboards and there was an unknown filth under both beds. Would not recommend.

The stay at the Red Lion in Aurora was a good choice. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The bed was very comfortable with adjustable firmness. The dining area of the restaurant was closed for some reason. It appeared to be some renovation. So dinner was served in the bar and was excellent. The shuttle service to the Denver airport was very handy.

The stay at the Red Lion Inn was for my parents. They felt special. The Red Lion Inn was indeed one of the best hotels that my parents have stayed in. They felt special and since the bill was on me, I feel like I made out real good. An excellent hotel at an affordable price. I'm doing this again and again. Thank You!

My family booked reservations at the Renaissance Hotel, when I went to book the same dates, it was the Red Lion. It was not a good experience. We had to be moved to three different rooms because of problems with the rooms (Air conditioning, poor maintenance and door lock problems). On our last day, we could not get back into our room to shower and finish packing before catching a flight back home. No one's key would open the door, the maintenance man finally got us in and proceded to repair the door lock, which was adjacent to the bathroom, with the door to the hall open, so I did not shower. A manager apologized, but didn't do anything to compensate and we were pushing it to not miss our flight. The front parking was very dark and there were no other businesses near by. One night when we had to park in the back, we had to pass by police arresing a prostitute. I was glad my husband was with me as I did not find the location to be safe. Our whole family had problems with our door locks/keys. Also, my nephews had a hold placed on their debit cards, which the hotel could not (would not?) release when they checked out and they were driving back to Memphis, expecting to use their debit cards. In fairness, the Red Lion had just taken over and the hotel had obviously been neglected by the prior owner, but that does not change the location and their hold policy.

This hotel is in terrible repair. We've stayed there twice and both were very unpleasant, sleepless nights. The sleep number beds don't work, the window fan/heater units sound like and airplane taking off and kick on and off every 2 minutes. We had a flood in one room. The place is a mess and the corporation doesn't care at all. Save your money and get a better night sleep anywhere else.
