Nicely decorated room. Lobby was a construction site and other parts of Hotel are in need of a modern upgrade.

Size of rooms and bathrooms. Very clean and well decorated.

Most of the hotel is under reconstruction. While next to a large mall, the area around it looks pretty sketchy. The rooms that are open, while newly furnished, are small, and the layout is still from 40 years ago. The lobby and gift shop smelled like very old dust and dirt. The water in the room tasted terrible. The smoke detector was lying on a night stand, and began beeping early in the morning. Management was not helpful. I would not stay there again, and would look to the Doubletree across the street or the Extended Stay America across the interchange.

Nothing. Smelled like dog, dog crap on mat at rear door, tub clogged. This hotel would be ok if it did not smell like dog and if the tub was not clogged.

Hotel did a nice job renovating. The food was excellent and enjoy the outdoor patio

Good location., Room in poor condition, door was actually bent, antiquated AC, couldn't keep room warm. Good location, but well past its prime.

I stayed for a 3 day conference and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was next to a huge mall with lots of restaurants to walk to. The outside of the hotel is deceiving. When you walk around the hotel it is like a big resort in the middle of Sacramento. The rooms were new and comforatable.....The food was excellent, we all thought it was the best hotel food we have had in a long time.

Bed was soft. Room was clean. Shower was clean. Electrical cords hanging around the room. Very large property in transition. Will be nice some day. Understaffed at night.

The hotel had some nice new things like the lounge and guest rooms. Looked the restaurant and gift shop were almost finishishing up a renovation. I'd go again, good value, can't beat the location...next to just about everything.

Wasn't bothered by the staff. Electronic key didn't work, broken down furniture no closet. An old facility, going through a skimpy up grade.

I booked because it was a 3 star, but it's not a 3 star. Our first room smelled bad, like a dog had been caged in, and the carpet was nasty. We moved to another room, smelled better but the carpet was still dirty, just not as bad as the first room. Air conditioner didn't work well, you only survive with the fan over the bed on high. It is under remodeling so hopefully new carpet will be installed and the dog odor will be eliminated. I booked through an on-line discount site so I had pre-paid, other wise I would have moved on. It does have a nice bar and restuarant on site, also room service, bed was great. All and all not a bad place so if you book just request a room with clean carpet. Great pool area's.

It was great for my chihuahua with a sliding glass door out to a nice grassy area. The bathroom is old and ugly looking. Simple. Nothing fancy, but good for pets and a buisness person.

this hotel had a good location for our needs. Easy access to the freeways and mall close by with alot of eating options
Date of Stay:

Easy access from my car, free Wi-Fi and good soap. No ice machine and not very good TV with few channels.

"For the most part, our activities and festivities were outside of the hotel. We loved our room, it was comfortable and they thought of everything. Even the soap bars were a reasonable size."
Date of Stay:

It was inexpensive. The card locks did not work properly.

"The service was excellent, the room clean and the restaurant very good. The outside could use a little sprucing up but otherwise a great value."

Dead crickets in sink, toilet had not been cleaned for months hense the stain and black water. Will not stay there again.

Construction made it hard to park and get to room. This hotel has an old heating/AC system which means you are not able to control the temperature in your room. You are stuck with whatever system they run during the day.
Date of Stay:

Very quiet. This is an old property. The property is under construction and it makes getting around the large, sprawling property difficult. The room has no choice between AC and heating; the heating was on, if one turned on the fan (the day was not cool). The location is difficult to access and not at all convenient.
