The hotel was great because of its location and price. It did however lack some amenities that I expect a hotel to have for the rate of the room. I would definitely stay there again as long as the rate remained the same.

The location to the Grand Cayon. Good location, good restaurants nearby and a good stay.

The hotel has too many rooms, thus too many guests to use the small pool and continental breakfast. The rate is too high for what you get. The smell in the hall corridor was very bad during the evening. The pool was very, very small. The room where the cont. breakfast was served was much too small and going through the line was a major jam up of people. The staff did the best they could, but to advertise the ammenities is a joke. Would not stay there again. Expected a lot more for our money.

Was an excellent hotel, compared to some other options out there. Good value for money, nothing very fancy. Clean and quiet. Great location as well, it took us barely 5 mins to get to the Canyon entrance from the hotel. Check out the cafe near the hotel - Cafe Tusayan - great authentic local food. The only negative part is the hotel complimentary breakfast, which was stricty OK. Would advise travelers to eat outside.

Very clean, quiet, modern, with good parking and good service. Very quiet and comfortable. Excellent reception.

We read the reviews before booking and decided that this would be a good place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and very reasonably priced. The breakfast was good although the breakfast room was too small. They kept the food plentiful and we took our food back to the room. The location is great. Don't eat at the Italian restaurant directly across the street. It's terrible food!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area!

Close to Grand Canyon. Payment was confusing.

Customer Service is poor! They messed up our reservation and did not feel they had to take care of it, so we ended up spending twice the amount! The breakfast is poor and the breakfast room is way too small for such a big place

This hotel was not exceptional for the money paid, but since it is close to the Grand Canyon you would have to expect to pay those prices. Everything was clean, the pool was nice (but not really heated like the staff said) and the hot tub was fabulous. Overall, a nice place to stay and cheaper than any of the other local hotels.

Continental breakfast, close to Grand Canyon entrance. Very loud and heard everything outside and upstairs.

I took my wife to the Grand Canyon for her first time - I booked 2 nights at the El Tovar. I was so Elated to find that I could 'cancel' my 2nd night. My son found the Red Feather - it was excellent - large room, clean room, great staff and a generous continental breakfast ( trust me I have seen many that don't deserve to be called breakfast - this was well done and included fresh fruit ). It was a welcome experience especially on the back drop of the very very overpriced Xenterra run hotel and food eaterys at the Grand Canyon Park. It is very close and provides a few less expensive options for eating in Tusayan. We almost did not stay due to prior reveiws - This is a Good Hotel for the money.

The location is conveniently close to the Grand Canyon NP South Entrance, room is okay. But the breakfast room is small and full of people, supply is very limited, and staff not friendly.

Close to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Serviceable place to stay while enjoying the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Nothing special, but no complaints either, and I was there to enjoy the Grand Canyon, not the hotel.

We planned to stay here for two nights, but because of an accident, the first night we had to drive to Flagstaff and spend the night there. The staff was understanding with the situation, and they only charged half of the first night stay. The location of the hotel is good, the hotel it's expensive for the things they offer, but I believe the fact that it's close to the Grand Canyon makes half of the price you're paying. There isn't really anything to do in the village (so from this point of view, the location is not that good), but on the good side, it's quiet.

The location was very convenient. The free breakfast was not efficiently run. The location was great and the facilities were clean. It is not a fancy hotel, but it's a good place to rest your head after a long day of hiking in the Canyon. The free breakfast in the morning was a little disorganized and the breakfast room was a little small for the amount of people there. Other than that, the hotel was not bad.

Clean, quiet, friendly, comfortable bed. b pillows were not very comfortable.

The hotel was conveniently located to our destination, The Grand Canyon. The room lacked common amenities, ie. hair dryer, coffee maker, one ice machine for the entire building - that did not work. I was very disappointed for the price. I would definitely not stay there again.

motor lodge part was ok, clean, but no frig, coffee maker, or microwave. Excellent location. A good breakfast.

Wireless internet. Clean and well appointed room. Breakfast. Motel was clean and comfortable. Included wireless internet. Was very disappointed with the breakfast area, which was the same size as a normal room. Since this motel has more than 100 rooms, the breakfast facility was unacceptable. Coffee was available in the lobby, but not in the room, so we had to go across the street to a McDonald's to get breakfast and coffee. Overall, the motel was acceptable, and I would stay there again - but I could not avail myself of their breakfast because of the crowd of people waiting to get into the tiny space available.
