Distance from city centerThe hotel guide states that the hotel is close to the city center when travelling on the LUAS. This is not true as it takes upto 45mins-1hour from leaving the hotel to reaching O'Connell st

TravelRed Cow Hotl was great and good value for money.Public Transport - States LUAS across road from hotel - correct - but about a quarter of a mile cos a new roundabout has been built and Luas now further away.Tip - use the bus from city centre - about 25mins journey and stops about 50 yards from hotel.

Excellent hotel as alwaysI have stayed here on numerous occasions over the years for both business and lesiure and this is a lovely hotel to stay in. Really nice and relaxed atmosphere. The only quibble I have is it has due to the new road layout become harder to find the entrance if driving so my advice is to look at the map before you approach as if you miss the motorway exit you have a long way to come back round to it.

Comfort, Choice and Quality - ExcellentThis hotel is located in the middle of several noisy flyovers, so isn't the ideal location for holidaymakers seeking nice views of Dublin, but for easy access to the city, the airport and all routes out to the rest of Ireland, it's perfect. Location aside however, this hotel impressed and surprised me on all aspects of our stay and I would strongly recommend it to anyone as a result.The staff were polite, welcoming and extremely helpful, the hotel clean, warm and welcoming (not contemporary decor, but bright, fresh, clean and rooms had a lot of space), and the choice of food available (there are three different restaurants, all open until 10pm) superb. We ate in the main restaurant within the hotel where we were served a meal of excellent quality at a very reasonable rate. Breakfast the following morning was cooked to order, so fresh and excellent value for money.

i booked a no smoking room and was given a smoking room without being toldi arrived at my room and noticed a smell of smoke-i complained and was then told there were no "no smoking" rooms avaialbleabout 15 mins later a room was foundand i movedthe breakfasts were a bit tasteless

A warm welcome on arrival was followed by an efficient and very quick check in procedure. The room was bright, very clean and with all the necessary facilities for an enjoyable stay. Dinner was served by friendly staff and the food well prepared with the idea of the 'east meets west' meal theme adding to the experience. Overall a very enjoytable stay for which I thank all members of the hotel staff

Nice hotel, clean, tidy, modern looking. Rooms clean & tidy, decent bedding ect. Food and service fair to good - unless it gets dropped on you! Nice touches (shampoo's etc) in the bathroom. Actually, pleasent stay but uneventful apart from the diner issue. Within reach of city centre., good connections. Bad bits - Tram works outside hotel (re routing tram lines). Tram stop not outside hotel as stated but is 2-5 min walk depending on how fast you walk - could be difficult for those with disabilities

Although we were initialyy disapointed where the hotel was located once we were inside all disappointment vanished .the service was excellent ,staff we extremely helpful .we had an \"early bird\" dinner at the hotel and it was one of the best meals we have had for some considerable time. The quality of the food ,its presentation and the service were second to none .It was exceptional value for money In addition the staff were also dealing with a young couple planning thier wedding reception the staff treated them so well we initialy thought they were some one famous !!!!

Easy access from the M50 motorway, though major road construction work at present (May2008). Short walk to LUAS tram system which is fairly frequent. Friendly staff, good breakfast and really comfortable room.
