For an overnight stay it was affordable as one could get. None of the hotels in the area are cheap. It was close enough to the downtown area, (3-4 miles). If you are on the first floor, you will hear the noise from the folks on the second floor. In-room fridge and microwave is as fancy as you are going to get.

Excellent value, would stay again if traveling in this area. All other hotels in the area were twice the price. Clean, comfortable room for the bargain traveler. Could afford two rooms at this place to take extra people along for the trip.

This hotel was fantastic. Very close drive (about 5 minutes) to the trolley to go into Cooperstown. Five minutes the other way was a supermarket, pizza hut, mcdonalds, and two great restaurants- The Jive Cafe and O'Hanley (sp) steakhouse. This hotel was the best way to see Cooperstown.

It had rooms with nobody above or below you. The greeter was not very personable, seems like we were bothering him. Overall this was a great hotel, and pretty good location.

I was in town to tour the Baseball Hall of Fame. This hotel was reasonably priced, and while it is a few miles from the HOF, it's easy to find from there. Very simple accommodations, nothing posh. I would have liked internet access and working soda/snack machines, but they have extensive cable TV offerings. Not far from a few restaurants of various types, a gas station and a supermarket.

Messed up reservation, charged more than price agreed upon with Orbitz, light bulbs missing in room.

Wonderful setting, very attractive motel, parking right at entrance to room, very clean room.

we arrived and were helped immediately the lady was very nice who waited on me. It was located 3miles away from our destination and the price was right. we did'nt need a fancy motel or hotel. Thanks for your help. I would use this motel again. The red carpet inn was very okay for us

The location, clean. Front desk was not very welcoming. Almost like we were disturbing him. Very short with his answers.

The toilet paper hanger did not stay on the wall. The manager was friendly when I told him about the trouble. This hotel is a little far from Cooperstown but the price is right.

Great location, about 3 miles from Cooperstown. Also near the Fun Park and batting cages. Rooms feature clean basic accommodations.

The room was clean and it was very comfortable. The location was good only about 2 miles back into town. Very quiet location. We were surprised to find a fridge and microwave for a room at this rate. I would stay there again if ever in the area and would recommend it to my friends.

Thought the Hotel was fine, although the choice of food for Breakfast was very poor. Would stay there, again though if I was in the area.

A reasonable motel, but price very high relative to room quality. Office staff pleasant and friendly. Free WiFi. Reasonably convenient to Cooperstown attractions (we were there for the Glimmerglass Opera). On 2nd morning we found that the coffee maker had not been cleaned since the first morning! Yuck! On both mornings the staff knocked loudly on the door in spite of a Do Not Disturb sign.

Going to Cooperstown, this spot is just far enough out that it has avails a tad longer than closer hotels to the BHOF. Rooms were clean, and staff was gracious and accomodating.

This particular Red Carpet Inn was very spacious with well kept grounds and afforded a perfect place for us to bed down after exhaustive days at Coopertown Dreams Park, as it was off the road and very quiet. The location was midway between the town of Cooperstown and the Dreams Park which suited our itinerary to a T. I would recommend it to anyone. The staff was very friendly and were constantly about sweeping, watering hanging baskets and keeping the place looking good.

Small Room. Room was kind of dirty. Convenient location to see Hall of Fame and Dreams Little League fields.

The Red Carpet Inn has a good location--with two restaurants within walking distance. Some chain restaurants are also located in a plaza a couple of miles down the street.

I was pleased with the amenities (microwave, refrig.)provided for the low cost. The room was clean. Certainly not a high end facility and no breakfast provided. But in comparison to the other hotels in the area a great cost saver. It was outside Cooperstown but easy to access.
