Asked for non-smoking room with king bed. Got smoking with double beds. Room was filthy and broken up. We called you and advised you and then checked out.

Inexpensive. The smell. The Red Carpet Inn was adequate for our traveling needs.

Please go to another Hotel. I wasn't looking for luxury, but this Hotel is ridiculous to say the least. It's not only a safety hazard, but a health hazard as well. I'm not sure how they stay in business as the only people that would stay here are unsuspecting travelers like myself who have never stayed prior. If I could attach photos of the disgusting condition of my room I would. I'm contacting OSHA, and perhaps the Federal Bureau of Investigation because I think this Hotel is involved in some kind of illegal activity. There's no possible way this establishment could stay in business in the condition it's in. When I arrived at approximately11:30 P.M., I noticed there weren't too many occupants-which should have been my first clue. After checking in I was placed in the building farthest away from anyone, and I mean the entire building was vacant. It struck me as odd because there were many vacant rooms that were closer to civilization. I didn't feel safe to say the least so I demanded another room. They did accomodate me, however, upon entering the room I noticed the wall paper was literally coming off the wall. The carpet had about a 1/4" of dust in the crevas so it hadn't been vacuumed, I'm sure, in quite awhile. The ceiling had mold on it as did the bathtub, toilet, and shower curtain. The refridgerator looked like it had been left outside during Hurricane Katrina, and there were holes in the curtains as well. I literally couldn't believe my eyes! Have you watched the movie "Vacancy"? Creepy... Go somewhere else because you may get sick if you stay at this Hotel, and that would be the least of what might happen to you.

This hotel was horrible!! My friends and I thought that the hotel would be nice from the look of the lobby....we were wrong!!! There were no towels in our room and when we asked for more they gave us 2...all the lamps had blowed bulbs....one of them wqas actually hanging off the wall!!! The tub was yellow (but the water was nice and warm). We had one bar of soap and no coffee pot!!! We could have stayed at a nicer place for 10 extra....If you go to Hattiesburg drive right by the Red Carpet Inn!!!

The room was a good size. The room was clean and newly remodeled. Close to USM. Shopping short driving distance.

I stayed when I moved from Gulfport to Nashville. I left late (around 5pm) so I decided to stop off at Hattiesburg and stay for the night. My "nightmare" started at the front desk. The man barely spoke English. When I got to the room the access card machine barely worked....I had to insert the card and remove it like six times before the light went green and then I had trouble with the door handle. The carpet was badly stained. A light bulb was burned out. When I started to shower I had to punch the faucet to get it to change from brown water to clear water. I was up all night because of parties that were going on on both sides of my room. I was kept up by college kids (this hotel is VERY close to a state college) sexual escapades. I called to complain when kids were banging on walls for about ten minutes CONSTANTLY....but the front desk never picked up. Then I finally got to sleep.....but the front desk called me at 2 AM to ask if it was me who called and complained about the TOILET. Be warned...these walls are very thin and you can hear everything! NEVER, NEVER, EVER STAY IN THIS HOTEL.

Dirty room; mold all over bathroom; dirty towels-looked like they were used as grease rags;viewing lobby gives false impression ; I've stayed in some lesser quality rooms, but this place is the worst; not for families or retirees; never again!!

We had a nice stay. We arrived late and everything was clean and the staff was friendly. It was a great hotel for the money. I would stay there again.

None. Old, dirty and smelled awful. Have never been in a motel in this bad of shape.

I cannot reccomend this hotel as one of the nicest that I have experienced. The customer service is very lacking and unprofessional.

Open drain in the tub, no stopper or closure of any kind. Only had one lock on the door, top dead bolt lock broken off. Continental breakfast food was stale and tasteless.

Nothing. Rooms and bedding was disgusting.

The worst place I have ever stayed in. Electrical sockets hanging out of the walls or taped with duct tape....lots of bugs, and an air cond that didn't work right. The wallpaper was falling off the walls, and there was trash under the beds.

the red carpet inn was somewhat comfortable. Everything was pretty clean.

Nothing The bathroom door fell off, there were no bottoms in the dresser drawers. No towels, no pillow cases.

The rooms was damp and dank. As well as moldy and smelled really bad. The air conditioner didn't work well at all and the mold and mildew made everyone staying in the room sick. The tub and sink didn't drain. And even with the door tag on the outside door handle requesting maid service, the room wasn't cleaned. This was a horrible experience, and absolutely disgusting.

It was cost effective. The room was not ready at check in. It provided the basics. The bed was comfortable. The shower was small but water was nice. The TV worked. The room was older but it was clean. For the money I can't complain.

Location on the interstate. Not all of the hotel information was on the website. The hotel was not clean and did not have towels in the room. The sheets were dirty. We had to buy sheets and blankets at a local store. The staff was not helpful or polite. It was not advertised on the website that the pool is open only certain times of the year. Continental breakfast consisted of soar milk and frozen English muffins.

Price was great for comfort and clean. Let me check in early, was very tired, I really appreciated that.
