The Red Carpet Inn was a reasonable budget hotel that was on par with expectations. One aspect of the hotel is the location, whilst geographically it was well suited for our purpose, being on a divided highway access and egress was limited, if you would want to eat across the street 100 yards away it was nearly a 2 mile round trip! All in all the hotel was probably better than several other nearby hotels in the same price category we have previously experienced.

It was next to a bowling alley. The TV did not work. It was not clean. Check in was 2pm afternoon. I checked in a few hrs later. I had to wait almost an hr because the couple before me was just rapping up and then of course the room had to be cleaned out. I was very upset. When the room was ready, I grabbed air freshener for the cleaning lady to clear the order left. The cable didn't work, I was out of a television and they didn't have any other room for me and my guest. Our stay was the worst I have ever experienced.

This was a perfect hotel for the price. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you straight to New York City for only $4.40. The room was very clean and has a refrigerator. I was very pleased and would love to stay there again.

Extremely helpful staff. I needed an alarm clock and it was brought to my room. Cleaning staff gave me extra pillows. Just nice people. They could invest in new pillows, mattress pads and bedspreads. Overall for the price and the convience this was a good hotel. The staff are so nice and truely try to make your stay pleasent. New pllows, matt pads and bdspreads would do wonders for them.
