very good hotel for the price. I was passing through sao paulo for one night. close by to republica square and metro. good hot breakfast. only downside is the tv channels are in portuguese. pretty much all over brazil it's the same.

The reason why I rate service bad, is because you request me to write in Enghlish(not my mother tongue) but I understand that this is the only way we can understand each other. The people in the Hotel refused to speak English and it was really hard to get around. I don't know if this was the reason why most of them appeared unfriendly!

The restaurant was basic, but adequate. The staff spoke barely adequate English. The hotel is located in an old, poor part of the city, some distance from the main commercial area. The most disappointing point was that the staff could not provide any literature on local tours, although they did try phoning around without success.

Very, very helpful staff. Large room - good buffet breakfast - very central location minutes from direct airport bus. Internet price much lower than at the Hotel. We were told the area was dangerous but we were told that everywhere we travelled in Brasil.
