On the square around the cathedral there is a beautiful flower, fruit and vegetable market 6 days a week. Hotel Restaurant Rappen is furnished in the traditional Black Forest-style and offers 20 guest rooms and a restaurant welcoming you with one of the best cuisines in the city. Traditional dishes and selected wines are served in three beautiful dining rooms and in the summer you may enjoy dining outside on the sunny part of the cobblestoned square. |

The hotel is located aproxximately 1 km frm the main station in the middle of the town, close to the centre.
The house is furnished in traditional Black Forest style and offers 36 beds and an elevator. All rooms have a bath or shower, toilet, TV, telephone and free wireless internet access.
Non smoking rooms and allergy.proof rooms are available.
The hotel is situated on the sunny side of the cathedral, facing the beautiful 116 metre high tower.
On the square around the cathedral there is a wonderful market 6 days a week. All the famous sights of Freiburg's Old Town can be reached easily on foot or by tram.
Our hotel was completely renovated in 2004.

| The location of the hotel was excellent. While the hotel does not have typical lobby/bar facilities, the receptionist was always helpful and courteous with all questions. |
