Ramla Bay Resort

The resort is situated on a secluded peninsula on the northern coast of Malta, facing the picturesque islands of Gozo and Comino. It has its own 350 m stretch of coastline comprising a charming, natural sandy beach, a modern seaside pool and a lido. This is a unique resort designed to harmonise with the surrounding pristine Maltese countryside. It is also in the vicinity of the loveliest beaches in Malta, and the typically Maltese village of Mellieha, with its shopping centre, bars and restaurants, is only a 5-minute drive away. Malta International Airport is approx. 30 km away.

This idyllic resort makes luxurious comfort and relaxation a reality. All rooms are designed to ensure total comfort and relaxation. The fully air-conditioned beach resort has a total of 180 rooms and extensive facilities for guests, including a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access. Guests can relax in the resort's cafe, bar, games room or TV lounge, or dine in the hotel restaurant. Conference facilities are provided, and, for an additional fee, guests can use the WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, kids' club and the car park. There is also a children's playground for younger guests.

The luxurious rooms are larger than average and have extensive facilities. Most rooms have a very generous terrace, enabling guests to savour the sea or country views. All of them have a private bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, as well as a terrace or balcony, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, a minibar and a safe (with charge). The rooms also have a double bed, radio and tea and coffee making facilities.

The hotel has a pool with a children's pool and a poolside snack bar and provides sun loungers and parasols. For an additional fee, there are facilities for windsurfing, jet skiing, waterskiing, dinghy and speedboat hire, mountain biking, pedal boats, canoeing and scuba diving (water sports available in summer only). During the winter months, guests can enjoy the heated indoor pool plus year round activities, such as table tennis (for a fee). Guests can also relax with a massage or spa treatment (fees apply) or in the sauna, steam room or sun deck. The hotel has its own gym, and guests can enjoy a round of golf in Marsa, just a 45-miunte drive from the hotel.

The hotel has an a la carte restaurant open from June to September. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the form of a buffet, and there are Maltese or themed nights, as well as special dinner occasions. BBQ nights are organised in summer, and there is also a bar open all year and a snack bar during the summer months.

The hotel is 45 minutes from the airport by taxi. By car, follow signs to Gozo. Upon reaching Mellieha Bay (sandy beach on left-hand side), drive up the steep hill. Upon reaching the top of the hill, take the 1st left and then the 2nd right.

The reception is open 24 hours a day, and there is free outdoor parking.
