A reasonable hotel but a bit far out from Muscat. Desk staff very helpful. Very good breakfasts. Overall, good value for money.

In the overpriced hotel market in Oman, the Ramee is a very good value. It gives you the basics, and who wants to stay in their hotel room while in Oman. Use it as your base, and spend you money touring or shopping. Will stay there the next time I am in Oman. American George

A good option in the mid-price range of Muscat hotels, taking into account that hotels are generally on the expensive side. Location close to the beach. As shown on the picture, the pool is small and it is closed for most part of the day. A big plus are the hotel staff who were very friendly and helpful.

Rooms are fine though no character - no pictures on walls. But good value. More effort replenishing supplies in the bathroom would have been helpful. Rock Bottom cafe has good range of food, good prices, good service

Enjoyed stay here - close to nice beach a real bonus. Furnishing was a little tired but not bad enough to complain about. Easy to find taxis on main road which were slightly cheaper than hotel ones. BIg downer was late checkout time and charges for keeping room for longer.

Great location for the first couple of days.rooms were lovely and the staff exremely helpful. When getting taxis I found it much cheaper to flag them down on the road rather than using the hotel ones. A lot cheaper booking hotel online than paying when there. all in all recommend it .

Part of the hotel during ramadam (sept. 2007) under reconstruction, away from centre, near empty Qurum beach. You need a transportation or taxi wherever you go (taxi-2 RO to Ruwi or Muttrah souk, 5 RO to airport). Buffet breakfast very good, rooms equipped with older furniture, but bathroom new and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Possibility to check out at 4 p.m.
