Although fairly new, this luxurious Prague hotel, the Ramada Prague City Centre Hotel, is still steeped in history and tradition simply because of its central location near the medieval sights of old Prague. Within a comfortable walk or a short drive you can reach Wenceslas Square, the opera house, business district, museum, and the ancient Prague Castle.

Each of the 90 Ramada Prague City Centre Hotel guestrooms comes standard with cherry wood furniture, separate seating area, satellite TV, minibar, refrigerator, and full marble bath. The upper floors have magnificent views of the old city rooftops, which are architectural delights in their own right.

I was in the Czech Republic for four weeks and this was by far the best hotel I stayed in, close to the Charles Bridge, helpful and friendly staff, I would recommend it to anyone.

Good hotel - nice room and nice breakfast. Location is good, very central, never needed to get a bus or a tram (except to airport). Hotel entrance and lobby are very unassuming and small. We had a room overlooking the square, with a balcony, which was nice. Overall, if you get it for the right price its a good hotel choice. Old town would be a nicer area to stay in though.

I chose this hotel for its good location and because of the good review it got. While it was not cheap I thought I was paying a premium ($200/night) to guarantee the quality associated with a well known US hotel chain. Boy, was I wrong! This is a Czech hotel with a Ramada sign hung onto it. First off, the room was tiny, with two single beds pushed together. Nothing like the photos on the internet. The matresses were not comfortable, the pillows were thin and lumpy and towels were threadbare. I have thrown out pillows and towels in better shape. The morning buffet breakfast offere a variety of food that was almost tasteless, with rolls that appeared to be a day old. The coffee was undrinkable; I ordered cappuchinos at $3.50 a pop. The last straw came when we checked out. Although I had been quoted a rate in Euros the bill was presented in Czech Crowns which converted the Euro rate a a very unfavorable exchange rate. They refused to charge Euros to my credit card. Still, the staff were helpful and coureous but that can't compensate for the bad infrastructure. Bottom line is that this hotel is an embarrassment to the Ramada chain. I will never return.

The hotel was pretty nice. Everything was clean. The location was great. You could get off the subway and walk 1/2 a block and you're there. The walk was only 3 minutes to Old Town Square. About 10-15 minutes to Charles Bridge. Within hotel area, there was a good amount of restaurants and night life.

Not real 4 stars. Bathroom amenities restricted to a minimum. Liquid soap, no soap bar. No slippers, towels flimsy and thin. Breakfast not too varied. In sum, the management relies on the location, not on the facility and service.

"Fabulous buffet breakfast, but skip dinner (they actually bring it in from the restaurant next door). The front desk staff went above and beyond to answer any questions we had. Great location, easy walk to many major sights."

Ideally located in the center. Great breakfest. We had a room in the front of the building with a wonderfull view.
