Stayed for one night May 2008 after arriving at Orlando Airport. Hotel located at junction of John Youn Parkway and I4, didnt notice any nearby facilitys but one junction down I4 is Milenium Mall. Large open reception area with friendly staff and free to use internet PC for guests. Room average, clean usual layout with balcony overlooking ample carpark. Games room consists of a number of old (passed best) video games. Fitness room has a few running and cycling machines. Didnt use resterant or adjacent bar but both looked OK. Pool area with loungers, tables, chairs etc. also available. Only complaint they tried to charge additional $5/night 'Resort Fee'???

Hotel is terrible. The place is run down, rooms have paint and wall paper peeling from walls, furniture looks like it hasn't been replaced in years, stains on carpet and furniture, stale smell in halls, phones had constant "buzzing sound". Because of price hotel is frequented by younger kids who are partying all night. Hotel has numerous hidden fees that are higher then what's listed on travel websites and you must bring that to their attention or you'll get the higher charge. Hotel staff and Ramada Customer Service attitude ranges from "don't care to rude." Hotel meals are horrible and the breakfast buffet which lists for 7.99 comprises of scrambled eggs, panacakes, some fruit and a bread...oh yeah, tea is 3.00 extra and juice is an additonal 2.00 bring the total of the "8.00" buffet to 13.00. Pay a few extra bucks an stay away from this seedy joint.

From the moment my new bride and I got there we knew things were not going as planned. "Whats customer service?" Don't ask Ramada Plaza Resort. "Resort", ha! I've stayed at resorts and this was far from one. Entry door and balcany door left about a 1/4 inch crack which let out cool air, let in light and unwanted noise. We called for room service to order food from the decent menu (wich said they had steaks, hamburgurs, and pizza) and we're told "We might have some wraps or sandwiches." No thanks. Questions were left unanswered and help was not found. Don't ask about the prison two blocks down the road.(no, really) I am writing this as I am sitting in the room. We will probably leave early and cut our "Honeymoon" short. I only hope I can owe it up to my wife.

This hotel was absolutely terrible. The only good thing I have to say is the girl who worked the front desk was friendly. There was mold on the walls, rooms had a bad smell, bathroom was dirty, and nothing worked right. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointed in the Ramada name.

I never write these reviews but always read them. I need to write this. We were going with my husband, daughter, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, her husband and their 4 children. This hotel was the only bad part of the trip. Upon arriving our room smelled terrible. Extremely moldy. And the sink was leaking. Being a family friendly hotel we expected a fridge but when I called to ask I was very rudely told that it would cost $* a day to rent one. I can buy a new gallon of milk a day cheaper than that. Then when my sister and mother-in-law arrived they tried to be connected to our room but it would ring once and then stop.( the phone was broken. so forget wake up calls). I called the front desk to see if they arrived and they gave me my mother-in-laws room number, which i didn't think they were supposed to do. then when we went to disney and my mother-in-law stayed behind she told the housekeeper the she was our mother and the housekeeper not only let her in our room but told her she couldn't make the bed with the purse and wallet on it and let her move it. not that i care but what if she wasn't my mother in law or i didn't want her going through my room? my mother in law couldn't get her shower to work and had to have someone come up and "fix" it and then when she got out she couldn't shut if off and had to call again to have them turn it off. and they didn't care when she complained about it. so if you don't want a similar experience or you don't want to be right next door, pay a little more

Was promised a queen bed suite and got a childrens suite on the children's wing. Maybe because we arrived at 2 AM but we did call the night before and said we will be late. The "suite" was a regular sized hotel room that was divided by a high wall to make a separate room without a door for a kid's bunkbed and desk and chair. Not a real 2 room suite. The room was clean but the doors were not air or light tight and the A/C did not keep the room cool enough for me. The bathroom and shower were decent. The carpet was a little frightening. The bed was very comfortable. I guess for 44 a night I got what I paid for but I bet if we had not arrived so late, they would have placed us in a different area with different room layout. The pool was fine but the hot tub - man, the chlorine was so strong the fumes burned my eyes. Front desk at 2 AM was not very friendly but concierge in the mid morning was very helpful.

This hotel was absolutely terrible. It's located about 2 minutes from the prison, it's dirty, nothing works and all you hear is police sirens all night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The room were good and clean. It was difficult to find the room, because the signs are not located in plain view. A section of the hotel is on the outside, it looks like a dead end. a guest at the hotel saw that I was lost in trying to find my room. After we located my room, the man told me that he need to come in the room. I did not allow him in the room, I immediately slammed the door in his face and called for security. They asked me if I wanted to move my room. That should have never been asked, the correct thing to say was we are moving you immediately. Instead of security I got the front desk clerk. Not that anything was wrong with that, but were was security. After all that I experience at the hotel, they still charged me the full price.

Did not expect such a pleasant location for such a small amount. Location was great. Very close to downtown with easy access to interstate system. Very friendly, helpful staff with excellent local knowledge.

I wish I had read the other reviews more carefully before booking this hotel! Lobby looks great but the rooms are terrible-very dirty. They hit us with a 3 buck a night "resort fee." Hah, nothing about this place says resort. We booked nonsmoking and got a stinky smoking room/floor. Obviously no ventilation. The phone did not work the whole time we were there, and they knew the whole line hadn't been working for a very long time. We made the buffet mistake and ended up paying nearly 40 bucks (2 people) for HORRIBLE food by the time they charged 2 bucks for drinks and the laughable 15 % gratuity (couldn't ever get the waitress to refill my tea). The pool was filthy and barely heated (we shivered A LOT) and the hot tub wasn't heated at all. My advice would be to pay a few bucks more and get a decent place with a free breakfast and clean rooms.

I was not impressed with this hotel at all. We travelled with another family, and I called the hotel a week in advance to request 2 adjoining rooms on a non smoking floor which they said was fine. When we arrived they appeared to have totally ignored my request and didn't give us rooms together. The staff didn't want to do anything to accomodate us and we had to ask for the manager, and were eventually given adjoining rooms but on a smelly smoking floor. The first thing I saw when I walk in to the room was a giant cockroach. In addition to this we saw a rat around the pool area. When we checked out we had no charges on our room, yet they billed my credit card for $200 and when I called to query this the lady in accounting was extremely rude on the phone and refused to acknowledge the charge. In the end I had to call my bank to have them sort it out. In my opinion the hotel is not in a great area. It is convenient if you are driving to go to Disney as I 4 is right beside the hotel. But if you fancied popping out to the store or a restaurant there was nothing within walking distance. I stayed on International Drive the first time I went to Orlando and I would highly recommend this. You are right in the centre of everything. At this hotel a care is a necessity.

When we checked in we found out that our room was hot, they gave us room on smoking floor. On the second day when we came from the beach trying to take a shower all the towells was gone, when we asked cleaning lady to bring them she said that she doesn't have them. Later that day we found wet, smelly towells and some trash was placed next to our door and stayed there until next morning.

Do not stay in this hotel unless you can get the rooms for $59 or less. The family suites are nice providing a bunk bed and separate sleeping area. They DO NOT have a shuttle to the parks. So you have to pay to park at the parks. They have a small bug problem. The lighting at the pool is terrible. This is a bargain basement hotel so don't pay a lot for a room here!

"Loved the hotel. Right by I-4. Great pool, bar, game room, fitness center, kids rooms, food, gift shop. Rooms were neat and clean, and I'm very picky because I travel with my baby. this weekend we got a great price! Loved the inside of the hotel."

"The room is small, hotel lobby looks great but rooms need updating, cleaning wasn't great. A letter is left in the rooms asking you to tip for your maid service, and I know it's becoming customary but I still think it's rude. Pay them enough so they don't have to ask for tips. It also seemed the hotel might not be located in a real safe area of town, not sure, but did see something happen that involved calling a lot cops up the road from this hotel. Wasn't impressed by this hotel at all."

"The hotel is ok-good value for the price. However the advertised buffet for both dinner and breakfast is a giant rip off. In addition to the advertised price, you pay a gratutity for service (I saw the waitress 2 times) and an adminstration fee. Both of these costs add about $4 on to the price. And the food was terrible. "
