The Ramada Plaza Toronto Downtown is centrally located and within walking distance of anything you'd want to do in downtown Toronto. If you prefer public transportation over walking, there are subway stops and trolly/bus stops located within a couple blocks of the hotel. The room was much nicer than we would have ever expected for the price and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I am definitely planning to stay here again on my next trip to Toronto!

The updated room was very nice and the restaurant was good. The bathroom was crazy small and very dirty! I am glad our stay was only for one night.

Check in was very easy, and overnight parking is available in an underground car park attached to the hotel (CA$22 per 24 hour period). Our room was on the 9th floor, and was comfortable enough for a one night stay. It looked as though they had tried to make one large room and a bathroom into a small suite though: The double doors from the lounge area into the bedroom didn't close as the bed was in the way of one of the doors, and in the bathroom the toilet seat cover had been sawn off square so that it could fit under the bathroom countertop; it looked very odd ! The noise level from the plumbing in other rooms was a bit loud, but not too bad. For the price though it was a good choice for a short stay in Toronto.

Pool was only 4' deep and hot tub was luke warm, would not stay here again for this reason. Everything else with the hotel was really nice, rooms were perfect and the front desk was helpful. Room service was quick and good. Hotel is about 10 minute walk from subway stop which isnt bad. Price was very good too. Overall very happy with the hotel for the purposes of my stay. But as the pool and hot tub were not very good at all I wouldnt stay there again. As well the neighborhood was somewhat questionable.

While visiting Toronto we stayed at your hotel for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised as the room rate had me a little concerned as it was a lot less than we had paid in Toronto before. We loved it and look forward to staying again. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was great!

Hotel staff was ok but when we checked in there were no bell staff at all. The room was fair, clean but nothing to write home about. The elevators were very small and they just about fit us and our luggage. Nobody else would have been able to ride with us. They put us on the 3rd floor in the last room furthest from the elevator, there were stains on the carpets. No Ice machines on the floors - you had to take the elevator down to the dingy basement where there was one machine. The restaurant "Shade" was never open...when it was there was nobody dining there....tells you something. We ordered room service one morning - USD 41.00 for two aweful meals - the worst. Parking costs CAN 22.00 per day - no Security anywhere to be found. The pool was small and there was mold and mildew throughout it, the whirlpool hardly had any whirl - very little pressure...luke warm. The showers, steam room and sauna stunk of mold and mildew. Would not stay here again if you paid me!! Shamefull

Located too far to walk to subway. Carlton steet car comes rarely. Allocate extra time when travelling via public transit. Rooms are nice and clean and fairly new, but hallways are old and smelly. The staff is friendly. Parking is extra $22 per day.

Pretty good location, hotel in need of a refurbishment really but clean and good service.

I picked this hotel because it said it was handicapped accessible. It definitely was NOT. My fiance is disabled and there were stairs everywhere that we HAD to use because there was no other option! That and for 2 nights I had to pay 40 for parking that they didn't tell me about when I checked in!

It was an average hotel. Wireless wasn't free, parking wasn't free. The bathroom was very small. The bed, on the other hand, was enormous.

The location and rooms are perfect. The cost of the parking. This is a great location. The rooms are very clean and great for a short trip or for a longer one if you get a two room suite. We stay here every time we go to Toronto.

This is, at least the 3rd time we stayed there. The price was ok, but had we been a bit quicker, we could have taken advantage of a 1/2 price deal with the Delta Chelsea.

Hotel was nice-Bathroom toilet was so cramped next to the tub, I had to sit a bit sideways. Shower was very clean and bed was great. I was not happy that we were charged for local calls, ridiculous. Didn't mind having to pay for parking, almost all hotels charge for parking. Our reservation was for 2 Queen beds for a family of 4, we got there they said we only had a king size bed. They didn't have anything else except in smoking rooms. They didn't suggest cots. Glad I did. Fortunately we were able to get two cots for my kids. It sure made our room very cramped!!

We stayed at the Ramada in december 2008 at a suit room that was very comfortable. Keeping the heat at the bathroom was not easy though, due to a small window that didn?t close as it should. Other than that, it was a very good place to stay, nearby most places we were interested in while in Toronto. I would recomend it to anyone.

Reasonable access to subway and Yonge/Dundas streets Close to Yonge st but a slightly dodgy area

walls are thin, you can hear everything in the hallway, and the room was old with squee floors

The hotel was under construction, which was fine, but they ignored patrons waiting at the front desk. They told me I should upgrade to a suite, and I can't imagine what the double room must have looked like. There were no full-sized towels, and I waited in line at the desk for 15 minutes to request a mini bottle of conditioner since there wasn't any. There were three tables for all of the hotel guests to use for breakfast, and parking is 17!

The location was fine. The hotel halls were old, dirty and had a bad smell to them. The room?s bathroom had mold all around the tub/shower. The blankets had nasty spots on them. The room?s carpet was old and spotted. The gym was an old weight set on the floor and a piece of rusted equipment that just partially worked. The in room internet we were told just didn't work - sorry. This is not a three star hotel. One star at best because you do get to sleep inside!

It was close to subway stop. It was a little old and needed some repairs. Overall, it was a good experience. The parking was well protected and it was close to a subway stop so it was easy to get to major attractions.

I liked the friendly people at the front desk. The bathroom was old and run down. The sauna and steam rooms. The room was nice but the bathroom was old. The front desk people were nice also. It was quite a walk to the CN Tower but the Eaton Center and Yonge street weren't so far.
