It obviously was intended, in its day, to be very accomodating. It is an old facility. All aspects were meant OT have been very nice, maybe 2.5 or a 3. The age of the entire facility and its design simply are not up to par with other hotels what accept my bids. Their requirement of payment to use a publicly available PC is very unattractive.

It seemed that they started to remodel the hotel and just stopped half way through. The fitness room was in a guest room with two treadmills and one bike, of which two machines did not work. The game room had one game and it shared space with the laundry room. The carpet was well worn and needed to be replaced, and the whole building needed to be painted.

It was clean and most employees were friendly. Condition of the hotel was poor, needs fixing. The hotel was out dated and in need of repair. But the staff was friendly and helpful. It was keep cleaned which made the stay there bearable.

This isn't the 4 seasons, but for the price, its perfect. Its very close to food, and shopping. There's a mall a little over 2 miles away. Its a little bit confusing to find off the highway, but thats not the hotel's fault. You have to get on the frontage road. Its also in a fair neighborhood. I didn't have any fear of my car being broken into. The staff was very helpfull and answered all of my questions. The breakfast is also nice. A hot buffet with eggs, waffles, sausage, hash browns...not a "contintential" breakfast. Like I said, its not a luxury resort, but for business, or a cheap trip, this hotel is great.

The front desk staff was friendly, and accommodated an early check-in for us, but when we got to our room, there was an unpleasant ordor, the beds felt hard and cheep, the carpet was torn away a couple of inches just inside the doorway and the room as a whole felt old and not well maintained. Also, the pool was so cold you could barely stand to be in it even though it was pretty hot out. We stayed the first night but switched hotels for the remainder of our trip.

liked the hotel but didnt like that there were no locks on the bathroom door, no hooks to hang towels and the maid did not make up the bed. I didnt need the sheets to be changed but would have liked it if they made the bed. Also saw a water bug in the bathroom.

Breakfast buffet, wireless access. Dirty and loud room, disappointing for Ramada. The hotel is located off highway 17; therefore you hear all of the trucks and cars that travel along that route throughout the night. My room had peeling wallpaper, even the baseboard was not attached (cabling behind). The room had not been vacuumed well, otherwise they would have found the Sharpie pen I kicked near one of the beds - even then, the carpeting felt gummy. The heater/vent worked, however very loud when it kicked in. They have wireless access, yet to plug in your computer another device must be unplugged. The breakfast buffet was nice. The waffles are handmade by the guests, so plan ahead since that takes time to make them as well as to watch the other guests make them.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Well located for anyone wanting to have good access to the major north/south route 17. Easy to find. Aircon a little noisy. Major problem is the inability to telephone outside the US...if you are a foreign visitor. Would definately recommend this hotel as excellent value for money. Good breakfasts too.

Don't know who thought that this place was anywhere above a 2 out of 5 stars, but believe me its true. Located in a not so nice anymore part of town, was very unimpressed with everything. I heard rumors that some rooms had been newly updated, but those apparently were not available with the online package. Do yourself a big favor, and find any place on the west side of town -

Convenient location just off the expressway, yet quiet if you get a room facing the parking lot. Renovated rooms are spacious and well equipped (except perhaps sub-par TV reception and nothing to hang towels in bath room). Curiously, furniture is refurbished with many exposed hardwood edges that kids may get themselves bruised if not careful. Good breakfast in full-size dining room. Staff is friendly and helpful. Now the questionable bit: I suspected bed bugs after the first night, and by the third I was bitten ALL OVER. Then I noticed sign on door indicating pets allowed (in that room) and thought must be the reason. On inquiring at front desk, I was informed that pets allowed only on top floors (not ground floor where I was). To their credit, someone came in to check for fleas before I checked out, but I still think it must be the blanket and mattress. If anyone else had the same problem, we should let them know because other than this problem, it is a great place to stay on the north-west side of Phoenix!

The location is pretty far from downtown but it´s very convenient: a lot of restaurants around and a modern shopping center. The breakfast buffet is not very good but enough. You have to choose an "updated" room because some of them are still on updating process. The updated rooms are very nice with all you may need.

Without knowing the area we were staying in we booked rooms. When we discovered we were within a couple of miles of our facility it was a nice surprise. The nearness to the highway was a plus as well. The staff was courteous and accommodating.
