Description:
The Ramada Palms de Las Cruces is well-named for the over 200 palm trees that surround the hotel. That is just the beginning of the delightful features that await you at the Ramada Palms de Las Cruces. Visitors to the Las Cruces area find our hotel is well-located for visits to New Mexico State University, which is just across University Avenue, and the White Sands Missile Range and National Monument are just a few miles away.
The city of Las Cruces also offers a wonderful variety of attractions that are all within a mile or two of the Ramada Palms hotel. Our guests enjoy exploring Historic Old Mesilla for a taste and feel of Old Mexico, and it is conveniently located just two miles from the hotel. Area museums such as the Historical Lawmen Museum or the Space Mural Museum, monuments like the Bataan Death March Monument, the Farmers and Crafts Market, and more are all within reach. If golf is your passion, we have 4 courses that are no further than 8 miles distant.
Yet, the best reason to enjoy a stay at the Ramada Palms de Las Cruces, is the hotel itself. As you enter our lobby for the first time, you realize that you have entered a city unto itself. Southwestern ambience is all around you as you discover the lush interior courtyard with separate pools for adults and small children, the wonderful Sabor Restaurant and Bar which features Mexican and Amercan favorites & complimentary continental breakfast for all guests, the variety of shops on our promenade, and The BAR, you realize that an entire village has opened up before your eyes.
Our promenade includes Michael's Ace Hair Studio - a full service salon for nails and hair with a masseuse and Esthetician available, as well. Near Michael's are the wonderfully exotic gifts featured at Artemis Decorative Arts. Lucas Pipe and Tobacco newsstand has one of the areas most complete and finest humidors, and Las Cruces Shuttle Service will get you where you need to be. Turn left around the corner from the promena

This was probably the worst hotel that I have EVER stayed at! The staff is unfriendly- and the management staff is even worse! Our room and bathroom were dirty and very old!

It was easy to get to my business location. They had no warm sausage and no low fat milk. Skimpy breakfast. Too old Mexico style of architecture for me. Too dark in the patio. No natural light. Excellent as far as just a place to sleep.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We will stay here again. Location was very convenient. Room was nice. Complimentary breakfast was very good ... much more than continental. Restaurant for dinner was very good, too.

Roaches and a crisp mold. The check in was pleasant yet the facility was in poor shape. My room had a smell of mold! The carpets showed 29 years of wear. The bathroom was equipped as handicap with a booster chair on the toilet and some make shift hand bars. Which probably would not meet code requirements. Funny thing I am not aged nor handicap!

Our team members stayed at his hotel this year because our last stay at another las cruces hotel was a nightmare. This was a great choice. Not one member of our group had anything bad to say (very, very unusual for out team). Everybody raved about the food and the friendly helpful service. Thank you Ramada. Will see you guys again next year. God bless you

Staff was great and helpful Walls thin. Heard many noises. Hotel is definitely 2 star, nothing more. The staff was very helpful and nice. The walls were paper thin and I could hear my neighbors talking all night and anyone passing by in the hall.

Before booking this trip, I read reviews on Las Cruces hotels, and some reports of dirt and bugs scared me off other properties. So, considering value for price, I chose this one. The Ramada room bathroom was pretty clean, but still fell short of being as clean as home--but at least it didn't give me the creeps. The parts that could have been cleaner were the floor corners under the sink and behind the door. We did have a bug in the room, however. I found it one morning lying on its back near my bed. Just about that time, housekeeping knocked on the door and they got rid of it. I lived in Phoenix and know that it's hard to keep bugs out of living areas in the Southwest, but I think a hotel/motel should make a special effort! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the outside and lobby/pool/bar areas are very attractive. What I didn't like was 1) housekeeping came too early in the morning (8:30-9:00), but I guess we could have put out the Do Not Disturb sign to avoid that; 2) There is a restaurant within the motel, but we thought the menu sounded too "gourmet" and expensive, and we thought we'd probably get small portions for a high price. We would have been happier with a more "middle of the road" menu, and probably would have eaten there at least one of the three nights we stayed; 3) The layout has an inner ring of rooms that have one door on a central hallway, but another set of French doors opens onto the lobby/pool area and even when they're closed there's sound that comes through. Overall--pretty good, and I think I'd stay again.

Great public space. Poor water pressure for showers. I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel on two different nights a month apart. The first time I stayed the hotel was amazing. We were given a great, large room with a balcony and everyone that worked there was helpful and kind. The second time I was there, we were given a smaller more worn down room after waiting 15mins to check in. The staff was also much less friendly this time around. Our first experience at the hotel was great, but the second left much lacking.

A beautiful hotel. Great deal for the money. I have stayed at virtually all Las Cruces hotels as I drive down every other week for business. The only two hotels you want to stay in are the Ramada and the Encanto. Absolutely the best for accomodations, spaciousness, business services, food, lounge. Ramada is less money and the service and food are much better. Ramada has a indooor pool and the Encanto has a outdoor pool. You choose. My choice is the Ramada for the next twelve months.

Authentic setting, quiet environment. Bed too firm. Easy to find location with quick access to Old Mesilla and NMSU. Parking lot well lit. Quiet environment in authentic Hispanic setting. Nice continental breakfast.

We took the freeway exit because my son saw their billboard and wanted us to stay there. We found the hotel to be very friendly and the food was very good indeed for a wayside hotel. It is an older building but is well maintained. The lobby area is very pleasant and serene. My son loved the arcade and the pool. We loved the food.

Very nice interior of the hotel. Atrium and swimming pool area! An older property needed some attention to details. This hotel is right off the interstate and has a very nice look inside and out. Larger rooms, that had doorways into the inside of the hotel as well as doorways outside to the parking area.

Beautiful southwestern style hotel with great food, very nice rooms and very gracious service. This place is a deal for less than a hundred bucks. Fully recommended.

Beautiful southwestern style with a lot of charm, comfortable rooms, great friendly service and very good restaurant. We did not expect much in this small town on Interstate 10 when we took the exit but are happy that we did. Comfortable safe place to stay. Indoor pool was fun on a hot summer evening. Not a small Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn type of property. This is a large comforable place with shops, hair dresser, arcade, lounge, restaurant. It's like visiting a small town. We enjoyed it and will stay here again.

Great service and unique rooms and lobby. Nothing. This is a spectacular hotel, and it must be one of the best in Las Cruces. The lobby has many shops, a pool, and a restaurant all in an outdoor-indoor Mexican theme. Very pretty, and very romantic. I cannot wait to stay here again. A real standout hotel in my mind.

Superb hotel for the money. I had to write this review after reading a couple of other ones on this site that don't do justice to this property. . The staff was super friendly and nice. The hotel bar was relaxing and the bartender was gorgeous (my wife thought so too). This was the second time we have stayed here and I really like this hotel. You will enjoy yourself here. Try the food, it is excellent.

We were told our next door neighbor complained about us having a dog with us. Which we didn't but in any case it should not have mattered because the hotel is pet friendly. That changed my view on the hotel staff.

The staff is completely incompetent and double charged my credit card. I've been calling long distance for 4 days now trying to clear it up. They have finally issued a refund, but when I checked the amount they were still $12.56 short! Now I'm calling long distance again trying to get the full amount back...I'm sure I will have spent that in phone charges after all of this mess is over.

Beautiful southwestern style lobby with swimming pool & lights. The rooms weren't quite as pretty as the lobby. The Ramada Las Cruces was great. The lobby is beautiful, southwestern style, decorated for Christmas -- there's an indoor pool that the kids seemed to enjoy. The rooms are a little older and less pretty than the lobby, but clean & comfortable.
