The smoke detector was ripped out of the wall and clearly not functional. The lamp next to the bed didn't work, and the socket in it seemed to be broken so I couldn't switch light bulbs. No Internet access in the guest rooms.

Helpful staff. Only two towels, no wash cloths or hand towels. Hotel was clean and quiet.

When I stayed at this hotel, the original room they put us in was missing the TV remote, the phone had no dial tone and there was an odor. We went to the main desk and they changed our room, no problem. UNTIL we got to the new room, which was right next door to our original room. Same bad smell, but now we had a TV remote. We did not have a working lamp, a working volume button on the remote control, a dry carpet or a fire detector.Other issues included but were not limited to an uncomfortable musty bed and the peeling watermarked wallpaper with mold on it.. The next morning at checkout I let the manager know about the issues in the room- and he said, "Oh."

The beds are cheap frames that don't quite fit. I ripped open my shins 3 times on the bed just walking around.

The outside is not that appealing, but the lobby is nice. The room was clean and suited our need of location. The free breakfast was great. I found the washer and dryer, located on our floor, helpful, as we had been traveling a few weeks and were getting ready to take a cruise out of Bayonne, NJ.

It was quiet and very well protected. Air did not work that well. It was in a great location. The staff was very helpful. The roads getting in were under construction. Soon it will be even nicer.

well we first arrived there and it look like there has been a water leak , on the carpet in the hallway leading to the rooms , it smelled , we were never told about this and we almost fell try to bring in our luggage because once you were on the carpet your feet got wet floor .The halls smelled very bad this causing the room to stink when you got in to them , we had asked for certain things to be in the room and this was not done , we were in a nonsmoking room right next to a smoking room and it was terrible .

Conveniently close to the highway. Good for a quick nap to get back on the road. Not bad for the price.

Clean, quiet and good price. This time the breakfast was serve in the Lobby. Good location near the highway, quiet and clean. The price offer was the best. We come from Montreal (Canada) and each time we chose the Ramada in South Plainfield. One hour in bus to New-York.

Musty odors, dirty carpets, saggy beds, bathrooms need more TLC. This hotel needs a major makeover. Not worth the

Friendly staff. Horrible, old pillows & very meager breakfast. Need to get new pillows (I have stayed their 3 times and each time the pillows were disgusting. The computers in the computer room are antiques. They do not even have CD. They have no access to AOL.

I stayed at the hotel because of business travel. Rooms were old and outdated.

The room smelled bad, and the hallways were dirty. The breakfast area was clean, open and bright, and the food selection was adequate.

Location & hotel staff was good. Shower was dirty, heater didnt work, and other guests were rowdy at 3am. The hotel was ok. We asked for a king sized bed, however they would not give it to us. We had to change rooms because the 1st one had yellow water coming out of the shower and the heater did not work. Also, other guests were loud and very rude in the middle of the night. On the other hand, the staff was nice, especially the late night guy at the counter.

The place is a lot bit hard to find. The front dest is very helpful! Overall, nice hotel for short time stay!

This hotel was welcoming, bright, cheery, clean, even had a breakfast buffet. We would stay there again in a heartfeat! The Hotel atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. The interior was bright, nicely decorated, had large roomy hallways, and clean comfortable rooms. They had many extras not listed on the internet as mentioned above. There was also a large, bright, workout room on the first floor. Parking was very convenient and accessible. I wish I could find hotels like this everywhere. Definitely underrated! It was a pleasure to have stayed there.

My stay was for business and everything at the hotel was fine. Had a busy street close by and did not really notice traffic noise. Restaurants were close for evening dining and continental breakfast at hotel was well attended by staff, the room was large and kept tidy.

Can not reccomend. Internet access was on ancient PC's at $5.30 per HALF hour...
