When we arrived, Orbitz forgot to put us into the motel computer and it took 38 minutes for the manager to get thru to talk to the orbitz folks to know that we had already paid! When we got the room, there was black mold in the ceiling and on the floor in the bathroom and the room smelled so bad that we used a full large can of Lysol to kill the smell (even after the duty person cleaned the visible mold)--They had no other room that they could move us to have a better experience!).

The breakfast was excellent, the clerks were friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. The fans were loud in the bathroom and in the room next door they must have left their fan on all night. The hotel has not been redecorated since I first stayed there in the 90's. It would be helpful to give it an update. It was difficult to get there now because of the way 12th Street has been changed. The light in the bathroom should be separate from the fan. I would however, stay there again.

We were in town for 4 days taking a review class, the staff was friendly and the place was nice and clean, and the breakfast was excellent in the morning.

Very good breakfast. Shower was dirty and pool was cold. The pool was very cold, and the Jacuzzi was out of service. The shower curtain had molds on it. The sofa/bed was broken. The popcorn machine was out of service because they had too much kids staying in the hotel. I will never stay again in this hotel, and I will not recommend to anyone.

We were there for a wedding and enjoyed being able to come and go and not worry about making noise or traffic in the halls.

The pool, continental breakfast, and lobby. Cigarette smoke--not in my room but in the lobby. Very nice employees.

Nice little continental breakfast. They had what I call "real" pillows (not flat) it WA quiet. Parking was rather limited. Seemed to be an older motel. Room was a little worn but clean. Not too hard to find. Bed was comfortable and had nice full pillows. You didn't need 2 pillows to hold up your head. I prefer non smoking rooms. I enjoyed the Belgian waffles at breakfast. They had a nice breakfast nook to sit in. If you are into computers they had a small room for you to use complete w/fax and computer. It isn't near a lot of businesses for shopping and such but not that far away either. I'd like to see the whole hotel go smokeless. Our room had a sign that said "thank you for not smoking but there were ash trays available in the room. Rather a mixed message. Pool was cold but the hot tub was nice.

The fitness center was run down so don't expect to use it. The continental breakfast was OK. The staff was friendly enough for what they had to work with. This is an older hotel that has a good location and a good price, but that is about it. Some idiot in a non-smoking room lit up and set off the fire alarm in the whole hotel around 10pm which deafened everyone there. Not the staff's fault, but once again...this is an older hotel for the budget-conscious. Beds were comfortable enough and the shower worked OK. Stay here if you need an affordable place near the hotel to crash/sleep at night. Don't expect much else.

The exit doors. Dirty, cluttered lobby, stained carpets, holes in bedding, inattentive staff, poorly lit parking lot, outdated furniture, and appliances. Dirty, cluttered lobby, stained carpets, holes in bedding, inattentive staff, poorly lit parking lot, outdated furniture, and appliances.

The Ramada in Sioux Falls, SD was a nice place to stay for our family of four, which like many is budget conscious. It is not luxurious, but it is quite functional and a great value for the money. The staff was efficient, the room was clean, the free breakfast was a bonus. I would recommend it and would stay there again.

It was nice to have a pool/hot tub to relax in. Breakfast was good. The equipment in the exercise room was either non-functional or so overused as to be dangerous. Although the staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was good (waffles, cereal, etc). The rest of our stay was marred with bad experiences. We weren't able to connect to the wireless internet for the first 5 hours we were there due to the lines being too full. We tried using the exercise room but the treadmill would keep shutting off after 15 seconds, the upright stationary bike was in really bad shape - handles were wobbly, seat was wobbly, and it wouldn't turn on. The smaller stationary bike was stuck on such a high tension that we couldn't peddle it at all unless we went backwards. Our shower/tub was not so good either. First the drain wouldn't work so we manually lifted it up and it came directly out of the tub. When we lifted the knob on the faucet to turn on the shower the entire faucet came away from the wall. The water suddenly went to pure cold with no warning (we didn't hear water running in any of the rooms around us) and then switched to pure hot just as suddenly. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to any but the hardiest of travelers who truly do not care about things like showers and exercising and internet connections.

The Ramada Sioux Falls was in a very convenient location for what we were there for. The rooms were clean and roomy! The conntinental breakfast was great! I did not notice a near by restaurant but there may have been and I wasn't paying attention.

Nice staff, very clean, fridge and microwave in room. I liked everything about this hotel. We stayed in a total of 5 different hotels on our stay in the Dakotas. This motel was by far the best motel we stayed in. It was very clean, and convienient for us. The continental breakfast was very complete and the iron and the coffee makers in the rooms were an added bonus. This motel will definately be our first choice when traveling.

The room I stayed in was a bit run down. But, the down home atmosphere made this hotel a comfortable place to stay. It reminded me of a college dorm I once lived in.

The continental breakfast was tremendous. Enjoyed our stay very much. I was surprised that it was rated a one star hotel because I could not think of anything that was missing except maybe a fitness room (which was fine)

This hotel is basically a reflection of the rate you are paying. It's generally clean but comes with little in amenities. The location is poor as there are no sit-down type restaurants in the area.
