This hotel did not give me a great first impression. The location was right next to the freeway and not in the nicest part of town. However, once inside the hotel, the grounds were absolutely beautiful and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room we had paid for was very small and right next door to the washing machine and ice machine. We asked the manager if there was another room available and they were very accommodating. The bathrooms need to be updated, but other than that, we had a great time and would stay at this hotel again. Also, the continental breakfast was really well done; danishes, cereal, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, oatmeal. And to add onto the location: getting to Santa Barbara is very easy and accessible, drive just a few minutes away and you are in downtown Santa Barbara and about 10 minutes driving distance to the Santa Barbara beach and 10-15 minutes to the Santa Barbara Mission.

Much better value than the other 2 to 3 star properties in Goleta.

We spent 5 days here while visiting our son in Santa Barbara. What a great experience! Friendly staff, very comfortable bed and clean room, excellent continental breakfast, conveniently located, nice pool area, and very quiet for a hotel. No noise keeping us up at nights, which is unusual for most hotels. I highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area. Best value for the money of any we have stayed at.

They have a nice layout of the rooms with views to the pool and lagoon. It my first time in this area and I would mostly likely stay here. It not the far from downtown which has lots of places to park.

Scenery. Cleanliness. Stains on bed sheets. Stains on bedsheets. Not the comforter, the actual sheets you sleep with. They tried telling me it was a water stain. It was one black water stain.

Nice motel in a convenient location. Rooms are clean good and clean. The pool is very nice. The landscaping is great. The free breakfast was also good. Most importantly, the people behind the desk are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this establishment.

This hotel must have been remodeled because it doesnt fit previous reviews. the rooms were very spacious, came with continental breakfast, free wifi, very clean, and quiet. Overall I was impressed.

Price for the area was great. The room was clean and comfortable, very affordable price. Close to freeway access.

Great older style beach style hotel with remodeled rooms (still have popcorn ceilings). Great beds and pillows. Awesome location for jumping on the 101. Quiet hotel surrounded by tropical flowers that offers a nice free continental breakfast with flat screen TVs for the morning news. Fresh baked cookies were a nice touch at check-in. Lobby has a large menu album on hand for all the top dining in SB. Would stay here again!

The pool was heated, lagoon is beautiful, and breakfast was good. Room was small, bed was uncomfortable.

Staying at the Ramada Inn was surprisingly nice! For Santa Barbara, it was reasonably priced. The hotel has this "lagoon" type feel, which is calming. The hotel is older (60's or early 70's...) and the rooms were a little small, but all in all it was a great hotel. I felt safe, the rooms were clean, the bed was pretty comfortable, and their complimentary breakfast was very tasty. I would definitely stay here again.

This was our second hotel on a four day trip. The hotel staff were not as friendly as the other two places we stayed. The price was also the highest. The room was nice with a great view of the mountains. Even though it was close to the freeway, it was very quiet. I would recommend this hotel to others who are staying in the Santa Barbara area.

Rooms were very clean and the linens were wonderful! No dislikes. Easy to find and plesantly surprised by the greeting at the front desk. Staff was very friendly. They even called and left a message on the phone to remind us of the free breakfast that was provided. I would stay at his hotel anytime.

Two to three freeway exits from downtown, may be a little too far for some, but I have to say the room was large, clean, and most impressive of all the bed was extremely comfortable and outfitted with a double-sheeted duvet -- a big step for all hotels. A continental breakfast was included in the rate, and it too was more than I expected. All in all we had a comfortable stay, and would definitely stay again.

My husband often works on laptop at night. There was nowhere accessible after 10 or 11 pm as office area was locked. The rooms were much smaller than others we have stayed in and it was an expensive hotel.the staff were only so so polite.

It was a good andcheap. The walls are thin, could hear everything from outside and next door.

Beds pretty comfortable, bedding very cozy. Clean. Just old and not upgraded. Nice pool, nice continental plus breakfast. IHOP just across the street, gas just across the street. Right off and on the 101. UCSB only 4 miles away. Good for a short visit to your homesick kids. No in room movies, good wireless internet connection in room at no additional cost. The pm shift desk manager is somewhat of a barracuda for no reason: stay away from the heavy set Scottish accent and you will be fine...you don't have to deal with her except for late night check in - the worst time because you are tired and road worn and she is just grouchy. The other staff were all nice.

Very nice, clean, smoke free room. Quiet location, koi pond very serene. Excellent room for the price. Plan to always stay here while in Santa Barbara.

The breakfast area! Staff was unfriendly, they did not have enough workers to take care of crowd. No place to sit, trays dirty. The check in staff was exceptional, friendly and helpful in locating restaurants for us.
