Friendly and very helpful staff. Locations of vending machines.

I called the day before arriving to confirm reservations and they neglected to tell me that there was no elevator. Upon check in they revealed the elevator was not working. When asked, they said it would be working in about three weeks. The elevator wasn't being fixed. It was gone! We were offered a ground floor room, "if it is a problem", but that did not feel safe. Rooms were under construction which added to the noise of the planes on flight pattern to airport and street traffic. It is almost all non-smoking rooms (2 are ok to smoke in), they proudly announced when I made the reservation, but they did not state that they have ashtrays stationed outside almost every room - encouraging people to smoke at the door to your room. The staff was very nice. Housekeeping did a good job. It is close to SJSU and convention center and convenient to restaurants.

Where to start??? You're under the flight pattern for San Jose International Airport. The room was in need of updating and a good paint job, especially the bathroom. The water was either scalding hot or cold, with no in-between. The breakfast area is extremely small and asking the staff to restock when basic items were missing was an ordeal and seemed to be an imposition. The worst: motel staff was unresponsive to complaints about noisy guests in the middle of the night and eventually the local police were called by other travelers to come take care of the disruption -- after over an hour -- because the front office staff said there was nothing they could do.

It was anOK place.

Close to local restaurants and main drag. Very noisy. Jets were quieter that guests. Very thin walls with people slamming doors and speaking very loud. No consideration for guest in rooms. I guess that what you get from hotels that have rooms open and facing parking. Would not stay here for extended stay. Would stay for one night if I could find another place first.

This is an older hotel but they have kept it up very well. It is close to part of down town San Jose and the only one under 90 that we were willing to stay at , We like it also because of its closeness, walking distance, to eating places and if you have friends at San Jose State it is perfict. The complementry breakfast was very good for a small place with many choices. The staff was very cheerful, Helpful and wanting to make sure you had a very good stay and day. Only down side was not many TV channels

Not a very good area. Police were called to motel to quelch a disturbance. Will not recommend. In a poor area. Appears to be a remodeled Motel 6 that tries to pass itself off as a Ramada Inn.

This hotel was a few blocks off from the main drag in San Jose. We needed an inexpensive place to stay for the night and this fit the bill! Typical motel stylings, with a parking lot surrounded by rooms, all facing outside. The lighting was dim and for 2 girls the safety of the facilities were questionable, but the staff was friendly enough and the rooms had enough space for us to spread out. Overall an OK experience but I wouldn't go back unless looking for a budget hotel/motel.

The beds were nice looking and comfortable, the room decor was nicer than some. The location was not close to the HPP & a bit of a seedy area. The bathroom needed serious updating. Good for the price, but too far from HPP, it was more like 3 or 4 miles, and we needed walking distance. Bathrooms less than desirable but room were nice and beds were comfy, seedy area.

room that we had had a broken security lock. Not really safe some creep tried to get into our room

Very convenient. All good. For the short stay it was just right for us and close to where we had to be.

During my stay I had friends that stayed at more expensive hotels that didn't have the amenities or the comfort I enjoyed at the Ramada. They had to pay for their internet, the rooms were not much larger and their beds were not very comfortable. The staff at the Ramada were friendly, the free Continental Breakfast was good, the hotel was very clean and the internet was free.Great hotel. I would highly recommend it if staying in San Jose, CA.

It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom door was off the track a lot and the air conditioner didn't work well. Nice for visiting SJSU.

I enjoyed the breakfast and the quietness. The bathroom door did not close and the room wasn't ready. I feel this hotel would be great for business travelers and quick getaways to see shows in San Jose.

There is nothing to like about that hotel, and I would not recommend it to anyone. See above. Simply put - do not stay at this hotel and at any Ramada hotels overall. This was my second awful experience in Ramada, understaffed, not helpful staff, not clean, not safe, utilities not working, etc. My business trip was pretty much ruined because I could never get a good night sleep.
