Hotel was very clean and safe. I stayed at this hotel with my 3 young children and I felt very safe and secure. Management and staff were very accommodating, the hotel and rooms were very clean,the pool and hot tub was also very nice.I would highly recommend this hotel for families

The hotel was clean, pool was very nice, the rooms were small need some upgrading. the maid service left alot to be desired. the breakfast was a little shy of food. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly

The staff was very friendly and helpful. It had a very bad mildew smell and the ceiling was cracked. We checked into the hotel, the first room we had smelled very badly of mildew, and we had booked a king size room, so they moved us to another room which was a downgrade to 2 double beds, which had a huge crack in the ceiling, the bathroom smelled like mildew and the beds were hard as rocks. The rooms overall were less than satisfactory but the staff the lobby and the pool area were very nice. Overall for the price that we paid I have stayed in nicer hotels.

My wife and 2 children were on vacation. One morning, a scream came from the bathroom where my daughter was showering. My wife ran in and found a roach crawling in the bathtub, where she squashed it with one of the hotel's towels. As we were leaving for breakfast, I stopped and talked with the owner. I brought the towel (with dead insect enclosed). The manager was rude and actually denied that they had cockroaches and that I must be pulling a scam in order to get a better price! I could not believe this. They should be ashamed of themselves!

The staff was rude and made you feel like you were a thief. They have a list of prices in the rooms letting you know for example if you steal a pillow you will be charge 30. We ask for more towels, after signing for them the lady at the desk told us really rudely that the maid will count the towels in the room. The carpet was old and dirty and had burns on it. My lock barely worked. The a/c barely worked and the room smelt like mildew and feet.

The Ramada, Cleveland Rd, Fort Myers Florida has an EXCELLENT staff. They are always helpful, courteous, do their job perfectly, and go the extra mile (the front desk staff showed me how to access their internet system.) They have breakfast every morning with healthy choices. The dining area was always clean. There are restaurants and malls within an easy drive. Its not super-lux but is a GOOD VALUE.

Rooms were spacious. Breakfast was skimpy. The Ramada express in Ft Myers met my expectations. It was an urban setting with good but not great amenities.

We've stayed here alone and brought our grandsons on other occasions. They loved the pool and we enjoyed sitting in the shade of the tiki hut. Nice hotel in a good location at a reasonable price.

The new owners went out of their way to accommodate guests. Advertised a tiki bar but they don't have one. Area of hotel is on the main drag through Ft. Myers...lots of strip malls and parking lots.

When first arriving to the room it smelled like urine real bad, Room 424. They gave us a new room, room 210. It was ok. Other room # 517 also had an odor. We were offered another room and that one smelled worse. Stayed in room 517. Pool was covered with ants and in the water.Pool was dirty. Hot tub had algae growing around top area. $20.00 dollars stolen from room 517. We had left a do not disturb sign on door but someone made the bed and the room was gone through. We informed front desk. Alarm clock did not work in room 210. Rear exit door had to be kicked open and was not well lit and a step was missing a chunk of the step and my wife almost fell off steps. Outside room 210. 4am Thursday morning loud motor noise started and woke me up and lasted about 40 min. room 210. Bath tub kept getting clogged, tub would not drain. Bath tub looked like it was on a raised base and the front cover was coming off. Shower control knob very hard to pull out or turn. Cover hanging off ac unit. Lights blinked when door to room was closed. Bath room door knob/lock did not work. Refrigerator in room stopped working overnight and all food spoiled, then refrigerator started working again the next day. Manager returned the $20.00. The young man at the front desk was trying to help but it seemed that there was always something else going wrong. Internet WIFI was very slow We should have been refunded our money and moved to a better hotel

Comfortable bed, continental breakfast. Nothing. Hotel was user friendly with iron, microwave, fringe, hair dryer, continental breakfast, just a little high on price when no elevator was available for people with a lot of luggage.

The room and service was fine, nothing special. I did not like the bathroom arrangement with the sink outside the bathroom an no counter space. Otherwise, just for a place to sleep a night, it was ok

There wasn't anything I like about this hotel. This hotel smells when you first walked in and continues into the room. The a/c didn't work properly. TV was very static unable to watch. The only thing good about it that several good restaurants were in the area. The rooms smell and lobby smell like mildew or stale smoke. Ac didn't work properly. TV unable to watch because of static poor choices of station. Key to room didn't work at time.

I guess the biggest complaint I have with the Ramada Inn was the ordor in the room, the room was clean but there was a strange ordor for all the days that I was staying there. There was also some mis communication with directions to the Thomas Edison House which I realized within a couple of miles. The staff was friendly and they tried to help with directions when asked. There are plenty of good resturants very near by which was a plus.
