The hotel was located very close to the event we went to see and was surrounded by resturants. The pool anf hot tub area was clean. We did have to make multipal request for a roll away bed. All and all for the price not a bad place to stay.

Ramada Limited Discovery Park was convenient to the major highways as well as other businesses. Room was clean. Toilet/bath area a little tight and would love to have had a more private area to wash/dress in. Not all people who share rooms are comfortable with dress, etc. in front of each other. Staff was VERY friendly. I would go back again when I visit Sacramento, CA!

I was in Sacramento apartment-hunting and wanted an affordable stay while I was there, as I planned on being in town for 5 days. I chose the Ramada Inn at Discovery Park, and was impressed by the folks there. The staff was friendly and helpful, although I had no major needs or crises (always a good thing but never a guarantee). The room was generally clean and the necessities (e.g., decent furniture, shower head, bed comfort, etc.) were all fine. As for the amenities, my experience was fair. The pool is nice and average-sized and goes six feet deep, which is good for those who like to get a decent workout by simply swimming in place without their feet always scraping the bottom. The continental breakfast was okay...good, store-bought muffins and cereals, along with a waffle-maker, the latter of which I did not use, that seemed fine. However, their fruit was slightly below par, in terms of selection and taste, and their lone protein consisted of peeled, hard-boiled eggs (which is, albeit, quite normal for the price). However, their orange juice machine was non-operational, and no diet cokes were available in the machines (sold out). My room contained a mini-fridge and microwave, both of which worked great, so I didn't have to rely solely on the breakfast/drinks provided/sold by the hotel, much less on fast food, the entire trip. All in all, my stay was fine and within "normal limits" considering the price per night.

When I arrived, the reservations were mixed up and I didn't get the room I reserved. After one night they moved me to a room I had reserved. The next night I came back to the room only to find that the lock had been changed on the room. They told me at the desk that they were going to have to move me again because someone else needed that room. The same thing happened once more. I had to unpack and pack again three different times. I called the online travel websites help line and the young man I spoke to had a difficult time understanding what I was talking about and I had a difficult time understanding him - very thick accent. It was a very frustrating experience and made my vacation less enjoyable as it could have been.

This hotel would not have been bad for maybe 30.00 cheaper. It was not worth the rate that was charged. I was awakened 4 times during the night by other guest in the hotel moving around. I could hear the upstairs guests walking around. The bathroom was small and not comfortable to shower in. There was dirt in the grout. The room reeked of bleach, and while this would give you a sense of hygiene it just bothered my allergies. On the plus side it did have wireless internet that was easy to access.

Microwave not available in room, which I could have used since I arrived late evening and missed time for delivery service from nearby restaurant. Staff was very friendly and courteous, able to accommodate my request to be on the first floor. Room very presentable and clean. Enjoyed the amenities of having a coffee maker, refrigerator, iron board and free internet service.

I spent three nights at this hotel. I like to stay up late at night and sleep in till about 10:00 am when I am on vacation. Sleeping till 10:00 am was impossible. Every morning starting at about 8:00 am cleaning carts were being wheeled by my door and the chatting of workers woke me up. I made my concern known but nothing changed. Not only that but my room never got cleaned the first day I was there. I also made them aware of that and they wanted to send someone over at 10:00pm to clean my room. Needless to say, I declined. After that, I just called when I was leaving my room to ensure that it would be cleaned.The wall heater/air conditioners are noisy and not easy to regulate like a thermostat. So instead of having a good night sleep I was either too hot or too cold.

This was a perfect choice to stay at prior to a morning flight. The room was very clean, had a kitchenette, full-size ironing board and iron, clean towels, hot showers, comfortable beds, and a pool. There is a computer and printer available for online flight check-in and printing of boarding passes. The Lyon's Restaurant next door has take out, home-cooked food and is quick and inexpensive. The staff was excellent and friendly - even at 5:00 a.m. when checking out. The hotel is located in a safe neighborhood, plenty of free parking, and no loud traffic noises. I highly recommend this hotel for family or business travelers due to the large-sized rooms, quiet area, convenience, and distance from the airport. I would stay here again and check in earlier so that I could take advantage of the pool.

We arrived fairly late in the evening & wanted to go to Old Sacramento for dinner & the location was convenient to get to from the airport & to visit Old Sacramento. We had our G.P.S. so getting around was not a problem. The room was nice for the price. Our only complaint was the foam pillows were too firm. The continental breakfast was adequate & the staff in the dining area were quite helpful as was the front desk person.

The room mattress was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. I did not like the limited items for breakfast; fruit would have been a good addition. The hotel was very comfortable and the staffs were very helpful. I will use this hotel if I am staying in Sacramento. Good value for the money.
