it a small hotel with external cooridors that face the parking lot and the pool. my room was on the 3rd floor which was ok. what was not ok was there was only two ice machines, one on the ground floor and one on the fourth which i wasnt told about and which were empty in the mornings and you need your key card to activiate the machine. also my room was a non-smoking room but smoking wasnt resticted anywhere else so on the corridors and at the pool people were smoking. the bathroom in my room was once-overed. it looked clean but wasnt throughly clean. there was mildew in the shower and especially on the shower head. the extra lock on my main door was broken. it was like someone has already tried to force themselves into that room. since there were external cooridors and i was with my child i didnt like that at all. the balcony "faces" the beach but you cant see it. all you see is the pool to the other hotel behind. locked my balcony door and then it got stuck and wouldnt unlock. i complained to the front desk about all of this. he was surprised about the bathroom (as if i were mistaken)and was nonchalant about the balcony and never addressed the lock on the main door. there is a private walk way to the beach but its long and personally scarry because there are bushes on either side that overwhelm the walkway. overall for the money i paid i dont feel like this hotel was worth it. i think the front desk staff is overwork and/or has no since of pride for the company they work for. i plan to go to destin again but not this hotel.

None. Dirty, inconvenient, not on the beach, out of date rooms. I will never stay there again. Our balcony was the size of a bathtub and looked over someones backyard. The beach was completely out of sight, at least a 10 minute walk.

The room was filthy. I had to wear flip flops to walk on the carpeting because it was so dirty my feet got black! I chose a hotel with a pool so I could swim everyday. The pool was green. You couldn't see the bottom. I wouldn't use it! I don't know how they can justify 195 per night!! There are a lot of much nicer hotels down the street. I would only rate this a 1 star!

we stayed from july 1st - july 5th. we had to change rooms 3 times due to problems.first when we checked in the balconey door wouldn't open, so they moved us, so the next two nites we had to deal with ants i mean 1000s of ants. it was so bad i thought it was baby roches. they only came out at nite. so they moved us again. i have never had such an event like this for the price we payed. the manger on premmises is a real jerk. he is not friendley at all. he trys to make it sound like its all your fault. will never go there again.

Easy access to the main highway. Breakfast was good. Liked the free internet just wish it was available in the room. It was not very clean. Further from the beach than expected. It was outdated in the room appearance and had a musky smell. No view from the balcony.

This was not a pleasant stay for me or my family. We were extremely disappointed in the staff and bad room. The overall room when you get in looks exactly like the pictures. It seemed pretty clean and it was a good layout. The room desperatly needed some tlc though. One of our mirrors was cracked, a lampshade was torn and a picture over the couch was extremely faded and needed to be taken down. Then our 4th night when we came home from dinner there was huge leak seeping from our bathroom ceiling and the phone was not working. Upon calling the manager he did not clean up the large puddle on the floor and all he could say was there had been a leak on the floor above us. It leaked all night over the toilet so if we needed to use the restroom we got wet. He gave us a new phone but he was not friendly and not helpful at all. we kindly asked for some towels so we could clean up the mess. The overall staff needed an attitude adjustment. The girl that checked us in was very rude. She didnt tell us how to use the internet, how to get to the beach which ended up being an 8 minute walk on a board walk next to the hotel. I also did not feel safe at this hotel. I had my two small children and mother with me so that is a big issue. The 5th night we were there there were 4 men brawling and yelling in the pool area, we could hear people being very loud our entire stay off and on every night. Overall it was a bad hotel with poor staff. Dont stay there. Its not worth the money.

The hotel was very comfortable. The room was a good size and had a private balcony, it had a micro and a fridge and a small bar area with a sink. perfect for lunch and snacks at the room. The beach was a little bit of a walk but it was the prettiest water we found on our trip. The room was cleaned well everyday. Destin Ramada was nice for the price. I would recomend.

I felt that the hotel advertisement misrepresented the location and some amenities. For example... beachside of a highway implies that it is on the beach, not a 10 minute walk to the beach. Free wireless indicates that internet is available in rooms, but it wasn't. The room size was great... building needs some maintenance like ceilings, etc. The staff was very friendly. The lady that cleaned up after the continental breakfast ran people off when the clock struck the magic hour (it was 10 minutes fast).

Nothing. Everything. This hotel definitely false advertises its location - beach view is barely a slit of water view between buildings. The dot for location on map is shown on the beach and is not close. Our keys did not work. We did not receive hand towels the 2nd day. We needed to check out a day early because our daughter in Athens, GA had serious car trouble. A huge disappointment.

the hotel was ok. the elevator got stuck on the 4th floor and when we went to the office to report it he told me what floor it was stuck on before i could even tell him. go figure! the walk to the beach took about 5 minutes. nice boardwalk to walk on.the breakfast was nothing but cereal, bagels, waffles, juice, and coffee. but it served our purpose for why we were there. going to the beach!

Close to, but not on the beach. No roads too close. It really is only a 3 minutes walk down a boardwalk to get to the beach. It's also walking distance from grocery stores and the outlet mall.

The hotel was clean and spacious. Service was good. Continental breakfast was okay. The location was the best. We were across the street from the outlet mall, near lots of restaurants, and a short walk from the beach.

Room had microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, and sink. Was a non-smoking room, did not reveal that gulf view was hindered. Hotel itself was very nice in all respects, except that there needed to be clarity about proximity to beach and view of the gulf.
