I would not recommend this hotel. The room had a mildew like smell. The hotel entrance leads you to think this is an OK Hotel...DO Not be deceived...It is NOT. Roaches in the common areas.. I feared putting any of my clothes on the floor. Left at day Break.....

We stayed for 2 nights to see my son graduate from Basic training. It was okay at first, except for the very musty airconditioner and mildew in the bathroom. The second day as I was curling my hair, I noticed movement on the wall behind me on the door sash. It was a cockroach! Not the big ones that are native to this area, but a gross scurrying little cockroach. EWWW! I am praying I didn't bring any "guests" home with me!! I told the man at the desk and he said that he could refund me just $15! I am not one to make a scene,so I took it.

Morning staff person at desk was friendly. This place was dirty, smelled like mildew and had bugs! I would not recommend this hotel. There was a live spider crawling on the sheets when I pulled back the bedspread. During the night I felt like I was getting bit by bugs while lying in bed, I actually got up and sprayed bug spray on myself to get back into bed! The room had a mildew like smell. The nightstands and furniture had a sticky residue on all the edges, my daughter made jokes about what it could be but it was disgusting. I feared putting any of my clothes on the floor. The bathmat had a black fungus growing on the back of it and even the tub when filled with water had small chunks of some substance floating that I decided to skip my morning bath. This was not a room I would suggest renting at all!

The hotel was clean and the beds where very comfortable. The breakfast was great especialy the home made waffels. The location was very handy to the airport and Fort Jackson. We where there for my son's graduation.

forgot to remove "do not disturb" hanger from outside door one morning, which led to my room not being done. my fault!!!. otherwise, service was great.

The continental breakfast was good. Too many roaches. If the bugs don't carry you away, you will be OK.

we needed a room to stay during our trip to the masters practice round. the ramada more than met our expectations. the room was clean and spacious, with microwave, fridge, iron, etc. the front desk and cleaning staff were courteous and friendly and very helpful. would stay there again.

Our stay at Ramada Limited was very comfortable. It was close to the mall and great restaurants. We chose this motel because it was like half way between Fort Jackson and the mall. Our daughter was graduating BCT so we had to do the mall for her, so it worked out very well for us. It was easy on and easy off from the interstate. We liked the loveseat idea instead of sitting on the bed.

Good staff. Almost everything! Basement shopping should have spent $10 bucks more and got a better hotel! Under new management and to their defense, they probably took over the past problems. However, there was mildew on the walls and shower. A little bleach could have taken care of it. All in all, it was a -1 star hotel for me.

04/03/09-04/06/09 Just came back from a stay there and I liked it a lot! The rooms was clean, the carpet was also clean (big deal in my book) I had the non smoking room with king size bed and it was comfortable. Had a coffee table and small writing desk. Microwave was clean and small fridge kept your drinks cool. Only minor thing I can say was the window view.....my room faced a brick wall! Would have been nice to have view with all the flowers that was in bloom outside... Like I said, minor. Had to run up and down stairs 2 nights to the front desk and get my key to work. Other than those minor things; Price was reasonable and I would recommend the stay there.

It was a nice room and clean but too far to walk to restaurants. I flew in so I was stuck having to take a taxi everywhere. Most of the customers drove in so no problems.

Didn't even stay there. Didn't feel safe at all. It was difficult to find and in a very run down area of town. Upon arriving at the hotel, my friend and I didn't feel safe enough to stay at the hotel, so we left without ever checking in.

This place was not what I expected, which I did not expect much being a 1 star hotel... The hotel was not the cleanest our bathroom floor felt like it had grease on it. The blankets and sheets looked dingy and the bed was horribly uncomfortable. The staff was not very pleasant, or helpful. There was always weird interactions going on throughout the hotel, between employees and guest?? or friends? At no point did we feel safe in this hotel. Though when we checked out there was an older gentleman who worked the counter that was very nice.. All the common areas were hot, and uncomfortable. When we walked in to the hotel we immediately knew that this place was not going to be great, it just had a very low quality feel with a lack of professionalism. The continental breakfast food was stale... It could have been worse, but it certainly was not an enjoyable stay. We ended up leaving a day early and staying with some friends because we did not like it.

Family stay was from Tuesday to Saturday. Asked for two adjoining rooms, and the honest answer from Hotel Staff a week before checking in, was, we will try. Upon arriving, we received two rooms, not adjoining. The very next day, the hotel staff, undoubtably the most courteous and professional staff I have ever had the pleasure of being served by, made herculian efforts in a booked hotel to accomodate us. Furthermore, as we were unfamiliar with the area, we relied completely on the staff for multiple directions to a number of diferent locations, including an army base, shopping, restaraunts, etc. The staff made directions and were extremely helpful in every way. They exemplified customer service in every way. I would recommend this hotel, off exit 65 Interstate 20, to everyone traveling to Columbia, SC.

Nothing. Dirty, mildew shower curtain, inattentive cleaning staff, plastic still on lamp shades. This is by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at and I travel all the time. All the cleaning staff did was make the bed. The toilet was dirty when I checked in. Dental floss tossed in the toilet when we left day, one was still in there when we returned at the end of the day. The toiletries were not replenished, the coffee pot was not cleaned, the lamps still had the plastic wrap on them from the store. The shower curtain was absolutely disgusting the entire bottom of the curtain was rotten from the mold and mildew....it was black! I could not be more dissatisfied with my stay and I will never recommend Ramada to anyone ever again.

The hotel was close to Fort Jackson were my daughter graduated from boot camp. The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were great and clean. The best for the money, they have a computer you can use to check emails and get directions to any place in Columbia. They also have a good breakfast to get you on the road for the day. I would go back if I was in the area again.

Shady neighborhood, HUGE cockroach in room upon entering, was honestly 1-1/2 lond and 3/4 wide, antennae must have been 2 long or better. Offer to switch room bu we told them that if the hd roaches that big that they would be in every roo, not just one room. Hope the hire an exterinator soon!

Friendly service, quiet and clean. Shortage of toiletries. Only one shampoo left at front desk, none in room.

We stayed there while attending the Masters Golf Tournament. It was a little over an hour drive to Augusta and was located right off the Interstate. Everything was fine except there were not many restaurants nearby. There was an Applebees right up the road which was fine for our short stay. The room was comfortable and had a nice couch to sit and read or watch TV.

We were very satisfied with the room. It was very clean and comfortable. The hotel looked to be remodeled. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
