Description:
The Ramada Limited Airport North Phoenix is just one mile from the terminals at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, and one of the closest hotels to the airport. Not only do our hotel guests love our proximity to Sky Harbor Airport, but we are just 4 miles from Downtown Phoenix, 4 miles from Tempe's Mill Avenue and Arizona State University, and just 6 miles from Scottsdale, the West's Most Western Town.
While we are nearby these three major Valley of the Sun centers of business and entertainment, it doesn't end there. Mesa, Chandler, Glendale, Paradise Valley and other Phoenix Metro cities are all within easy reach, as well, due to our great access to a number of Valley freeways including Interstate 10, Interstate 17, Loop 101 and 202, and AZ Highway 143, also known as the Hohokam Expressway, which is less than a mile from our front door. The famous Pueblo Grande ruins are only a half mile from the hotel, and if you are in town for Major League Baseball Spring Training, two of the Cactus League Stadiums are very close by. Phoenix Municipal Stadium, home to the Oakland Athletics is right down Van Buren Street only 2 miles away, and Tempe Diablo Stadium, the Spring Training home of the Anaheim Angels is just 4 miles away. The Arizona Center, with its famous array of shops and restaurants is also just a short drive down Van Buren Street on the edge of Downtown Phoenix.

spent one night there. attentive staff, good price. Shuttle to airport was quick, free internet in lobby. no complaints!

The staff was very helpful with directions. Noisy because of airport. The room was not very well lighted and the furniture was spotted and very dirty. The bed was clean as was the bathroom. Overall it was a very dreary room.

Walking into the lobby was like walking into the lobby of a hotel in some rural portion of an Eastern European Country. The evening staff was pleasant. The morning staff were like folks who had spent the night sleeping with Jack (Daniels). The hotel *has* to date back to the paleolithic era ... there were more patches on my room walls than on a pair of 60s jeans. The "comforter" was a cover that was wrapped around one of those foam egg-crate things. The sheets were like sandpaper. The most hilarious part was a sign, that I first thought described the tv channels, but actually listed the cost of each item in the room, in case you wanted to "purchase" one from the front desk. These ranged from the "tray" ($10) to the tv ($700) ... if you removed these from the room, you were presumed to agree to them being charged to your bill. The only good things about the room were, it didn't stink, wasn't dirty, the towels were thick and newish, and the "Order Inn" service in place of room service brought food promptly that was good, not repulsive. Oh ... from the time of pickup until we went up the ramp to the first terminal at the airport was less than 5 minutes. If you plan to be in your room to wash, sleep, RUN to the airport ... and be there less than a total of 9 hours ... it's probably okay. Otherwise, pay $15 more and look not too far away for better options.

Phoenix was 110 degrees and my friends and I were looking foward to the nice pool except it was GREEN and had dead things floating in it. The rooms were dirty, ants everywhere in our room and definately needed new paint! DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!

had to take care of family matters in Phoenix Area. Great location. Very Satisfied with staff. Had to change rooms when my wife and I first checked in due to A/C Problems. Asked for downstairs room and was able to get in one onboth occasions. Would definitly stay there again should I travel back to Phoenix AZ

Close to airport Did nto meet my standard of a Ramada Would not recommend. Served purpose of being close to airport.

The only thing good about this place was that it was within a few miles of the airport. It was adequate for a one night stay w/ a 5am flight...This place is really a 2 story motel without much in the way of amenities. The staff was very lazy and not overly pleasant. The bed was ok. Bathrooms and door locks were a little bit scary though.Don't plan to use the pool unless you want to share it with about 50 birds. Ewww. There have got to be better places to stay in Phoenix!

Had a refrigerator and microwave in room. Helpful maids. The sink only dribbled hot water, the roof is caving in, the deadbolt did not work, room stinks, no Internet part of the time, electric outlet to TV and lamp didn't work, parking lot too small and only one entrance/exit, coffee pot is above toilet, waffle dispenser broken, slow service at front desk while clerk had to watch videos, floor in room feels cracked under carpet.

This hotel was terrible and not worth a fraction of the price. Somehow we got a smoking room, it was smelly, the bathroom was not clean, and the room needed some serious paint. There has to be a better place to stay by the airport.

Computer screw up, people walked into our room. Our first room had sand on the bed. The desk clerk gave us another room number, but cleaned a different one. The room number was not changed in the computer and later that evening my wife and I were walked in on.

They knew we were coming and put us in a unheated very cold room. The room was really getto. The bathroom had been updated and was nice. The area the motel is located is in a bad area of town but it was close to the airport. They were very nice and on time for our shuttle there. The rooms need updating, needs new carpet, paint and repair. The room wasn't inviting and made us feel uneasy. We expected more from a Ramada. We will stay somewhere else next time.

Cheap Tickets should be ashamed and embarrassed to recommend this place to anyone. It was a disgrace and mispresentaion from the web site.It was filthy, had roaches, not just 1 but 3 at separate times and was in the seediest area of town along a strip [...]. I want a complete refund!!We were going through the most tramatic time of our lives with a dying parent and this was just a total disgrace. The stress and pressure of this hole experience has left me tramitized and I will never, ever recommend Cheap tickets to anyone!!

The bed and interior temperature were very comfort. Although part of the motel's personality, there were too many little steps for our seniors. This hotel is functional and practical but certainly not fancy or posh.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It has clean rooms, friendly staff and mouth watering breakfast.

Short commute to and from the airport. The older gentleman at the desk was very rude when calling him from the airport for directions. It was okay for an overnight stay. It's conveniently located near the airport if you're flying in. The gentleman at the desk left a bad taste in my mouth because of his inability to deal with the general public. I place this hotel in the same class as Motel 6 and much more expensive than Motel 6.

This place was just like home. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was hearty and delicious. I expected it to be a dirty unhomey place but this is my home away from home.
