There was no HOT water - warm at best. Their fix - let it run 10-15 minutes to heat the pipes up - Still no hot water. Night clerk at check-in insisted on holding my passport for ransom as they did not have confirmation that online travel website would pay the bill - even though I provided them with a copy of the confirmation printout. Another alternative he wanted was to pay cash for the room ! Door key did not work until next morning when the front dest activated it - again. I had a hard time sleeping, knowing that my US passport was in some desk clerk's hands. It took all the next day to get the billing straight, and I'm still not sure until I get my credit card bill. Breakfast buffet was adequate and well prepared. I had to wait about 45 minutes for the "complimentary" airport shuttle, driver was courteous though. I'm coming back through Kuwait next month and will book someplace else - even at a higher price. It's not worth the stress for the cheaper rate.
