The Ramada Inn and Water Park South Edmonton is located on the South Side of Edmonton, near a variety of attractions such as Northlands Park, Commonwealth Stadium and the Alberta Legislature. Guests will also be near a number of theaters, shopping malls, museums, casinos and parks. In addition, there is an array of restaurants and cafes in the immediate area as well.
Edmonton International Airport is only about 20 miles from the Ramada Inn and Water Park South Edmonton. Complimentary parking is provided onsite at the hotel for the use of guests during their stay.

The construction was extensive but seemed to only interrupt parking and use of the balcony. Upon reservation a couple weeks earlier, the staff were up-front over the telephone about the construction and seemed to do their best to make our stay as comfortable as they could given the work. We enjoyed the internet to look up some options for entertainment and the pool with the waterslide. Although somewhat dated and needing a little sprucing up, it was fantastic for the kids and us. We have booked again for a stay here in the coming days. I guess that says enough about how we liked it. The restaurant had good food. The wait staff was new and fumbled a lot. He had good manners though and didn't wreck the experience. The ambiance was nice. Overall, I'm looking forward to returning, and so are my kids!

its a nice hotel,not too far from downtown Edmonton.Hotel is on this moment under construction and when it is finished they have a nice and good hotel, it was a pleasure for staying here.

Its a little older but clean, staff friendly and helpful. Coffee maker did not work .Was not too happy but price was what i was looking for. Good overall staff was good pool hot tub was nice is older but seemed clean and was fun.

Stayed with my grand-daughter 4 nights and waterpark rented out most of the time to schools and birthday parties leaving no room for guests. Only clean part of hotel was the room.Carpets and balconies were filthy..Staff knew nothing about anything..NO Internet in rooms or front desk ..Very disappointed with the Ramada chain lately !!

Check in at the hotel was fast and efficient, the waterpark was enjoyable for all ages with the waterslides, kid pool and hot tub. Overall a great time to be had and definitely they will see my business again.

This hotel was terrible! They have no idea of customer service. If you want to be treated like and stay in a dirty room...go ahead and stay here...Extra towels are definately out!!!

The location of this hotel was in good proximity to where a concert was being held, used the family rooms, which were great with lots of room. The kids loved the waterpark. Great location with tons of restaurants around, close to shopping. Easy to use wireless internet access, very fast. Great staff, made stay very easy.

Good location. Not clean!! Vents in rooms full of dust, pool floor dirty was not cleaned before opening in morning. Old, needs maintenance, cleaning staff needs to be looked at closely. Room and pool not taken care of. For work I stay in Ramada often this is the dirtiest I have seen in all the hotels I stayed in. I will never stay here again!

The Ramada South in Edmonton is in a very old building that has not been maintained. The second floor smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. The fifth floor where we stayed was old looking, in need of updating and brighter lighting. There was a water leak on the outside wall of the bathroom, soaking part of the rug. The beds were comfy though.

It was close to lots of stores. The beds were hard. Overall it was a good hotel; I was pleased with my stay. The service was good, and the people were friendly.

I was planning on doing some work upon arrival. I found out that the hotel has only wireless internet connection but not the ethernet cable connection. I happened to have an older laptop that required ethernet cable connection. I was out of luck.

The beds were very comfortable it was so nice to have a great nights sleep. Found left over garbage from previous guest nest to the bed and found it to need a little more cleaning, was a cleaner myself. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel was in a good location and had all the amenities right on site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is still under upgrades, but can see the improvements in progress. Sure will be a more upscale look inside, hope they do some outside as well. Will stay there again and tell family and friends to go as well. Thanks for the great stay.

The water park was wonderful for the kids, they loved it. The hotel was very quiet even though it was filled with children and families. The lobby is too small to comfortably handle check in and out...it would help to have more room in there. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and quiet and great value for the money. Lovely to have laundry facilities too. Restaurant was okay but the food was far from fabulous.

Room on the 6th floor was completely renovated, new furniture, great staff. Water park was ok. Hotel is not completely renovated, lots of fix-ups needed, small elevators with dirty carpet. We noticed other floors were not remodeled and needed lots of fix-ups. Elevators are small with dirty carpet. Water park had lifeguards, nice but, is getting old.

The kids loved the waterpark, and if you're there so that your kids can slide down the slide, swim in the pool, and enjoy the hot tub, it's a great place. The hotel is under reconstruction. There is disturbance. The fitness room is merely a 70's style weight machine complete with old-fashioned brick weights attached. No cardio. No place to exercise. Dinner option is only a Smitty's. Location was great, staff was friendly, and room was clean.

Kids liked the water slides. Not allot of parking and poor snow removal of parking lots.
