Nice complimentary breakfast. Did not clean the eating tables after use quickly. Bathroom small and not enough power outlets in room for their TV and lights and for cell phone charging.
Date of Stay:
June, 2008
listed as indoor/outdoor pool but it was only outdoor and ice cold in June. closet/shelf/light combo was too low and kept banging our heads on it as it was over the luggage rack area. NO ELEVATOR to 2nd floor only 1 person at front desk and to man the breakfast area, so things were always running out. for the price they charge in the summer, it should have an indoor or heated pool.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
Convenient to highway. Ramada has seldom exceeded my expectations, this hotel was no exception.

Great customer service. Matthew at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay possible. Best hotel in Whitehall area/MI Adventure.

Easy on/off access to highway. Could of been cleaner. Everyone was extremely helpful and polite. The room was very nice except that there was spider webs in every corner of the room.

My husband and I stayed here one night when he had business nearby the next morning. We didn't get ANY sleep as the bar was right down the hall and there were guys screaming in it until past 2 in the morning. They were watching some sports thing on tv and yelling at it every few minutes. The girl at the front desk also served as the bartender or something and couldn't control them. It was a miserable night. Maybe it would have been better if we were away from the bar. We didn't use the pool, but it looked really cool, even if it is outside and then under a "dome" in the winter. It's a large pool and that seems hard to find at hotels these days. The breakfast the next morning was mediocre also.

I was expecting one double bed and got two. Also I was happy with the wireless service. There was just nothing special about it and the pool heater was broken. Okay for a short or overnight stay. Easy access off the express way. The rates were reasonable, however, there was nothing special about it. I was expecting more. The pool was small and the heater was broken.

Don't let them fool you, the pool is totally outdoors, except in the winter when they install some kind of a dome. If it's storming in the summer (as it was when we were there) you're out of luck --nothing Indoor/Outdoor about it. This hotel is also poorly managed; the staff is overworked -- books guests into rooms already occupied; A manager never seems to be on-site, and when calling with issues, management doesn't return calls. Scratch this one off your list of possibilities.

Staff wasvery nice!I was so surprised! It is in a really nice piece of land; it is private though right next to the freeway. It has a lovely lot and grounds very nicely maintained. The staff was so very pleasant. The room was clean and convenient. The pool area was quite nice. Beds were very comfortable.

Room had very strong smoke stench & noisy. Air conditioner was loud and dirty--would not turn it on but was hot & humid. Sheets had strands of hair. Had to get ours changed. Scales restaurant is not worth it. Smoky inside and food was dry & tasteless, very disappointing given the very long wait for the food!! Will not stay at this hotel again. We stayed here as we were going to MI Adventures, but will likely stay father out next time.

The rooms and beds were comfortable, very close to Michigan's Adventure amusement park. Lobby smelled of cigarette smoke, Little variety at breakfast, rooms not very attractive. The hotel and rooms weren't very attractive, the breakfast lacked variety, but the beds were comfy and it offered an EXCELLENT location close to Michigan's Adventure Amusement Park and downtown Whitehall and Montague.

Easy access. Didn't seem to know what they were doing with our bill. We were only in it for a short time. They won't get us a cot for our granddaughter unless we requested it prior to. As far as I'm concern edits over-priced.

Quiet, safe, and convenient location. Bathroom was a little small. Great accommodations. Good, friendly service. Very comfortable, safe location. Excellent value.

Great location, very helpful staff. Smoking should not be allowed indoors anywhere. We loved it, a nice upgrade from the day's inn.

The staff was excellent. Breakfast wasn't great. The hotel is very nice; staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It's a good place to stay with a family.

Friendly staff. Cleanliness. I felt that more attention to detail when cleaning a room for occupancy of new arrivals

It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a quick stay for us so I can't think of anything negative. This hotel was clean and pleasant. We arrived late and left early as we were just passing through on our way up North. It seemed perfect for what we needed..... an inexpensive hotel that was clean for a good night's sleep.
Date of Stay:
August, 2006
Rooms were clean. That's the most important factor in my stay. smelled of smoke, sheets didn't stay on mattress causing it to be exposed. Good location off of expressway. Room was clean although a non-smoking room was not available so my room smelled of smoke. Room was clean, staff was professional and friendly.
