I will never stay at this hotel again. There was no onsite lounge as they show in pics. the rooms was very small. it was under remolding and no one cared to tell us. the elveators didnt work. had to be moved to another floor becuase half the stuff in the room didnt work. It was disgusting place!!

Nothing. Everything. The bed sheet had burn holes, the room smelled of Indian Curry/Pizza/ Pot smoke. This hotel is pathetic. It's dirty, rundown, and seems to attract a really low-quality clientel. I will never go anywhere near this place again. I thought the Ramada name would mean it was at least somewhat clean, but even a roach wouldn't hang out for long here.

This was one of the worst places we have stayed, and we travel alot. We chose this location because it was away from the racetrack and the web stated that it had a lounge and entertainment. The in was under construction and there was no lounge open. the lobby was dirty and the rooms werent much better. When we got the rooms, someone was sleeping in one of the beds. not what you thought you were getting. Actually would like at least half of my money back. Cant get it all i'm sure, because we needed a place to stay and nothing else available. we made these reservations ahead of time and were sorely disappointed.

It was close to the things I needed it to be such as the race track. The room was not very clean and the house keepers never brought us clean glasses and cups every day. I would not go back to this location because the room was not pleasant to stay in. The wall paper was peeling off the walls and the ceiling was discussing. The coffee cups were dirty when we got there and they never swapped them out the entire week we were there. We stayed because being race week there was not much choice but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Location is the only positive aspect of the stay. Did not like the building, the furniture, the room, everything old. I will never choose this location again. The facility (room) was old down to the furniture, carpet and amenities. Very dissapointed in the hotel and could actually see why the room was at such a low price. Had the appearance of a Seedy Motel. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends, family members or clients who are frequent travelers to this area.

The Ramada Inn Richmond West is maybe ok if you plan on staying for 1 night only.The refrigerators barely worked,the room just looked filthy.The only possitive would probably be the bed which was pretty comfy.

The Ramada Inn Richmond West turned out to be a substandard property. The lighting in the room was lousy, one of the lampshades was knocked off the lamp when we walked in, there was a full flatiron burn mark in the carpet in between the bed and the dresser, the table was wobbly and the wallpaper border had evidently lost its adhesive grip at some point because it was hanging down the wall behind the bed! Could someone not have removed and replaced it prior to occupancy? The icing on the cake was the mirror over the bed!! I'm 53 years old, no prude, but is that something that is really necessary. My wife and I thought this place was pretty shabby--much in need of a makeover.

I would never stay ther again. There were bugs everywhere!! air cond. did not work. Tried to watch Nascar race and cable didnt work! Very unhappy!

Smoking, old and unappealing. Non-smoking room smelled of smoke and burned my eyes. Later, new room that was nonsmoking had a cigarette burn mark in the carpet and the sheet on the bed had a burn hole in it. Creepy experience and I was glad to leave!

This an older property and although the room was clean the bed seemed to be as old as the hotel. In addition the continental breakfast was not up to the standards of any other hotels I've stayed in. The best thing about it was the value as it was fairly inexpensive.

The staff was very friendly - they are the only reason I stayed. It was filthy! Our room smelled bad. I would not walk on the rug in my bare feet.

When I walked into the room I was greeted by a stained carpet at the door which was very unappealing as a first glance at the room. I would be embarassed to recommend this motel to a friend!!!!

I was only there for 6 hours. The mirror above the bed. This review did not meet my expectations, whatsoever. I did not expect the hotel to be a motel, nor did I expect there to be a mirror over the bed. The hotel definitely needs some renovations, because it is right out of the 70's.

The room was comfortable. Our check out time was noon, the hotel maid knocked on our door at 8 am, so much for sleeping in that morning. The pool was tiny and didn't open until noon, so we were unable to enjoy it. O n the upside it was conveniently located to the speedway, which was the purpose of our trip.

Lounge had pool table and dart board. Drifters, families that stayed up to the early morning hours. General overview: Great location but problem hotel. The area is the safer area of Richmond with convenient locations to shopping, restaurants and to the interstate. Major problem was the hotel itself and the other people staying there. A family whom took up the entire floor above mine stayed up all night running and shouting which was a problem since your door to your hotel room is located outside on a balcony and not an inside hallway. People on the parking lot level were shouting to the people at floor 2 all night and cars with loud stereos pulling in and out of the parking lot. I would have complained but some of the hotel staff were with the people up all night. From what local police explained to my wife and myself, this hotel has been a problem with it's patrons who invite people to party with them even though they are not staying at the hotel. If you are looking for a party hotel for a good price then you have found one but if you are staying with any children or for business the buyer beware, you have been warned!

Location. The room was very dirty and dingy. This hotel was below par for its class. The room was dirty and old. There were not enough pillows in the room, and the hotel staff was not able to provide additional pillows. The hotel staff was however able to provide a roll-away bed at the request of my party.
