Quiet rooms and soft beds. Very small pool and poor pool area. We chose this hotel based on the pool - should have known that no pictures on the site is not a good omen. Tiny pool used during a soccer tournament weekend so mass chaos at the pool and my kids weren't able to use the pool as much as we would have liked. Restaurant hours were limited making dinner difficult one night. Limited parking.

August, 2007
Great location for walking and biking to activities- parking lot was too small and often we could not find a place to park. A complimentary breakfast would have made this a perfect place to stay. Pool area was drab. Go to hot springs instead.

Close to downtown and affordable. Outdated, tub/shower not squeaky clean, and small. This Ramada was affordable and close to the downtown area. The hotel room itself was small and had a mild musty smell to it. The bathroom was poorly lit and did not have a shower curtain that kept all the water in the shower (not to mention that there was no tub plug). The pool and hot tub area was uncleanly. Overall, this hotel was outdated and I would not recommend it for a romantic weekend however it might be good for those folks looking for an affordable place to stay for the night or those folks looking to sight see downtown Glenwood on a budget.

First night NO AC at all. Repairs promised and solution was installation of window unit! Next solution was changing rooms. Both times solutions had to be initiated by me and handled through online travel website Customer Service.

Location was fairly close to shopping and eating places. The hotel had a musty, old odor to it and the rooms needed updating. Hotel needs updating with new carpet and wall coverings in the bathroom. It would be nice to have a functioning drain in the tub.

Restaurant staff went out of their way to prepare a special dish.

It's within walking distance to the hot springs and many restaurants. It's across a very busy street. Older but quiet and very close to everything.

"Room had fridge and coffeepot ... agree that a microwave would have been nice, but ...Room was a king, smoking ... large room, everything was clean.Ended up staying 2 nights ... found staff (from front desk to cleaning to restaurant) extremely polite and helpful.Only thing I would change is to increase the hours of the restaurant, but there are other restaurants right across the street ... think it was a Subway and a mexican food restaurant, maybe something else as well.Would definitely stay again, especially if had another coupon for discounted price!!"

Location is wonderful. Across the street from Glenwood Hot Springs, the main attraction. It is very old, needs renovating.

"hotel is old and run down, they put my wife and kids in a smoking room, saying that was all that was available. hotel is old and run down, service indifferent, overpriced. overall a very bad experience."
Date of Stay:

Very comfortable room. Not keeping the 40 or so kids quite after 10 pm. Very nice clean older hotel right close to most attractions.
Date of Stay:

"The room had a fridge, which was nice since the ice machine was always out of ice or you could only get a cup full at a time. Indoor pool was the size of a large hot tub. Could not always get service calling 0 on the hotel phone. Rooms were ok, but could have been better."

Extremely convenient to the hot springs pool. Quite old, a bit rundown. Needs some renovations. This was an adequate hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, just not updated. Not great views of anything from the windows. Very close to attractions, restaurants and gas stations. The staff was very friendly and helpful - problems were resolved easily and quickly.

"Room had mold in bathroom, candy under bed, toilet not working properly, no continental bk, cobwebs. we were told because we booked on line that nothing could be done. dirty dirty dirty "
Date of Stay:

The hotel was in walking distance to many restaurants. I got a smoking room, I don't smoke. The room had two doors, one to the outside, one inside. The room was clean. The amenities areas were clean.

Beautiful hotel, very spacious and nice. It felt like something from a bad horror flick. Considering the location, it was a great hotel but not maintained.
Date of Stay:

Convenient location. Dark, run down and unwelcoming. Very poor for a Ramada. The hotel needs a makeover in a serious way. The staff was far from friendly and did nothing to make me look past the aesthetic flaws.
Date of Stay:

Nothing. Very unhelpful staff, old, musty. This hotel falsely advertises the size of the rooms and the availability of free breakfast among other amenities. It is little better than a motel six. The TV did not even have a remote. The fitness room was not open and the hotel staff had no clue why it wasn't. We were not looking for more than a clean room, a nice breakfast, and a place to exercise before continuing on our trip.
Date of Stay:

The refrigerator was cold. Small dark bathroom.

Very nice lobby, warm pool. Small pool, internet was down with no alternative. Very clean hospitable hotel conveniently located. Unknowledgeable staff when it came to internet problems. No business center in the hotel, nor LAN options when the router for the wifi went down. I ended up devising a way to connect to the internet via a dial up through no help from hotel. No manager on duty, but then again welcome to the mountains. I recommend the hotel.
