The location was close to the university. The appearance of the decor is older. I expected a more updated hotel.

Clean, nice TV, very comfortable. The restaurant next door. Hotel is very nice, convenient to where we were going. Clean, nicely furnished.

Everybody was friendly, service was great. We loved the pool. Very relaxing trip. The floor around the pool was uncomfortable to walk on. Our stay at the Ramada - Portsmouth was great. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub everyday. The room was clean and comfortable. It was nice to get a free breakfast too. The ladies at the front desk were great, they even popped a bag of popcorn for us when we couldn't get into the room with a microwave because of a meeting.

The Hotel personnel were all very friendly and helpful, from check in to check out. Everything in the room worked, however this Hotel, it's Rooms, Lobby etc. is in need of updating. It appears nothing has changed since the Hotel opened.

With in walking distance to where our activities were. The morning breakfast was not appreciated at all, need better food. The hotel was very nice and close to the Ohio River, but that breakfast was horrible and everything has to be changed and better managed. No staff was available to take the requests or complaints in this area. It is played by the staff as a joke.

My experience at the Ramade Inn in Portsmouth, Ohio was excellent. I feel that it deserves a much higher rating than the 2 it has been given. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They were very friendly and even with us traveling with a 15 month old baby the services were excellent. It is not a brand new hotel, so of course there was a little wear and tear in places, but it was clean and all the linens, etc. were spotless. I would never hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone traveling, especially with children.

The bed was comfortable-the little couch great for reading. It was hard to find. Had to stop for directions. It was right on the Ohio river. They were having a festival with free concerts. That worked out nice. The breakfast was good. The room was nice. It was very relaxing.
