When we arrived in Moab, we found out that the Ramada was closed. We were sent to the Super 8 hotel. We stayed two nights. Maid service was not provided. We contacted the front desk and was informed that there would be no maid service and no adjustment to our room rate, since we had obtained our reservation thru a online travel website. We did receive towels and soap.

First, I'm a bit upset at Travelocity for giving this hotel 3 stars. It definitely does not meet the 3-star criteria. The previous reviewers must be friends and family of the hotel management. We expected to get a better room at that rate but were we surprised. The king-size bed had stains on the box spring that made my wife and I nauseous. The carpet was at least 20 years old (this info came from the management when he told me the hotel had not been renovated since 1988). It was frayed at the edges and we made sure we walked around in socks or sandals. We were told the room had a view of the river from the back balcony. I suppose if it were Fall you might be able to spot the river through the trees on the other side of the back parking lot. We could not see it. I convinced my wife to stay the night as we were tired after traveling from Vegas where we stayed at the luxury hotel "Golden Nugget" for only 59/night! When I went to checkout in the morning, I overheard the manager giving someone a rate of 95/night. When I asked for the same rate, he said "that was between me and the lady". He was very rude and seemed to not care about customer satisfaction, at least not mine. Bottom line. We will never stay here again and will try to warn others of this miss-advertised property. I guess you cannot trust Travelocity ratings either like you used to. This should definitely be a 1 star hotel according to their own description.

When we got there, there was a sign that said the counter person would be back in a few minutes. 15 minutes later, they got there, so I had to wait another 5 minutes to get checked in due to the back-log of customers. The room was OK. It had a large table but the charis didn't fit under it. This wouldn't be too big of a deal except we had a roll-a-way bed, and the fact that we couldn't put the chairs under the table meant it took 2x the space that it would have taken if they did fit under. I booked the hotel room for 5, but they only had 3 sets of towels in the room. The kids liked the heated pool.

The motel is 1970s vintage, with poor sound insulation. Aluminum door/window frames transmit almost all noise from the outside world, and I could hear my neighbors talking on the phone. When the occupant in the room upstairs took a shower, it sounded like a jet plane was taking off. No curtains in the vanity area, so the light from the street/parking lot shown into the room, making it difficult to fall asleep. The shower head was at chest level, and I'm 5'10" (178 cm). It looked as though the tub/shower upstairs had a water leak, based on the peeling and cracked plaster over my head as I took a shower. The timer on the heat lamp in the toilet/shower area did not work. The vanity was small. The rooms, although remodeled, are showing their age. The bed was too soft and the sheets very rough. The microwave oven and refrigerator were nice added touches.

It's an older hotel and the rooms were a little outdated, but they were very clean. We stayed in the back of the hotel and it was very quiet. It's a good place to stay if you're on a budget.

We had a wonderful stay. Staff was very helpful. Can't beat the location. Lots of shops and restaurants near by.

This was the last room available in Moab for the night -- the setup was great - 2 separate bedrooms and a room for the bathroom - with 3 kids and 2 adults this was great and private for us. The room was old and had a street door facing out - not too secure. would only stay here again if only hotel available.

Had long standing reservations and ended up getting a room facing the main road, so we heard trucks go by all night long. Snippy staff at front desk. The room was very small, dark, dingy, musty smelling with dirty stained carpet and dirty walls, a tiny bathroom, sandpaper towels and old bed linens. The bed was so bad, (unbelievably soft mattress with a 4 inch deep valley in the center) we kept rolling into the pit all night. We have stayed in hundreds of Hotels all across the US and this was one of the top 5 worst EVER! Do not stay here!!!

This was the last place available for our recent weekend trip to Moab; we were pretty nervous becuse we were left without another choice of place to stay, but it turned out to be fine. The room, other than smelling like carpet cleaner for the first few hours, was fine. Clean bathroom, lots of space, and comfy beds. Perfect location to walk to dinner and then out to a bar. I'd stay there again- good price for the room and perfect for a quick stay before going out to hike/ bike/ climb!

This hotel is in DESPARATE!!! need of an update. The wall paper was peeling off the walls in the room, the chairs had stains on them, there was LOTS of dust along the edge of the carpeting, it smelled old and musty, the ceiling needed painting, the bath tub had mildew, the towels/washcloths were so old they were like sandpaper, the sheets were old old old, the pillows were inadequate, who knows when the last time they washed the bed blankets and bedspreads. don't stay there unless you do not mind really shabby and not sheik.
