I was in town for Comic-Con, and wanted to be at a hotel near Qualcomm stadium where the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl. It was a great trip up until we arrived at the hotel. I had Internet on my plane 35,000 feet above the Earth, but this Ramada couldn't get the Internet to work there. They promised all four nights we were there that they would get it fixed, and it never happened. Even if it WERE fixed, it's not like there's one place you connect and you're done. There are like 30 different Ramada signals you have to try and sort out and choose ... it was a nightmare, and I am STILL waiting for the hotel manager to call me.

great continental breakfast, great location I had a good time at the ramada inn.I was in San Diego for my fathers funeraland I was not in the hotel a lotbut it was just right for what I needed.

The hotel service was very bad. They did not even have soap in the bath room. I had to go down to the front desk to get it. The water supply to the bath (both shower and tub) stopped suddenly in the morning. There was no notice on what the breakfast times are and when I went down for breakfast at 9:00 AM, there was nothing (except coffee).

If I had been by myself or with other family, this hotel would have been fine - but I was traveling with my mother, who is disabled, and it made the trip quite difficult. The hotel is a 3 story building, but has an exposed basement level at the back. We were put in a "handicapped" room on the third floor at the front. It was not very close to the elevator, and there is no handicapped parking anywhere near the only elevator at the back. In fact, there is extremely limited parking near the elevator, and I never got to park there during my one week trip. The only ice machine is in the center front (again, the farthest spot from the elevator) so it was six flights of stairs every time we needed ice. The pool and hot tub are great, but again also out in front, and almost unaccessable for my mom. If you are sturdy and stout, it's a great place to stay - disabled people beware.

I have vacationed many times to San Diego and never stayed at a place as horrible as the Ramada at SDSU. Our initial check in experience was horrible when we were skipped inline for others to check in, next we ended up with a smoking room which gave us horrible headaches that would last the day, computer access we depended on to print baseball tickets and had to pay for more tickets at the gate because we were not able to print the tickets, and when checking out were informed that we had additional charges to pay for a safe not used when at check in it was not explained in full datail, and a lack of conseration from the hotel staff. As a flight attandant half of my job is overnighting in hotels, and this by far was the worst experience i have had at a hotel. The hotel staff lacks the hospitality and consideration needed to make the experience worth coming back!

This was an overnight stay for business/training and for that reason met my specific needs to get to sleep fast. Clean and quiet with the frog serenade going for ambiance.

It was very difficult to find, if we didnt have a GPS we would have been lost. We thought we were staying at a HOTEL and it was actually a MOTEL. there are homeless people wandering the creek behind the building. The free interent didnt work for most of the time. The shower water didnt switch all the way, it would be 1/4 bath and 3/4ths shower, or 3/4ths bath and 1/4th shower. The iron in the room worked great, but thats about it. The room was TINY, you literally had to turn sideways to get to the right side of the bed because they tried to cram a table and chairs into the small room. we didnt spend much time in our room anyway, but next time we will deffinitly stay somewhere else.

It is extremely noisy not only from the freeway, but in general you can hear everyone walking or talking outside. Also found a hair on the bathroom tub. Will never stay here again.

We stayed here for SDSU orientation. It was close by and easy access to Rt. 8. The breakfast room is large, but busy! The wireless internet was not working well in our room, but ok in the lobby. The room was very compact, but comfortable and with good amenities for the price.

Length of stay: 2 daysVery noisy, being right next to one of the busiest parts of the San Diego freeway. Even with the window shut you will hear the constant buzz of traffic. Doors and trim in desperate need of paint to cover marks and scratched in graffiti. Management, not good to say the least.All things considered, I would not recommend this place at all.

When we got to the hotel the desk clerk told us that since we booked with a third party our room type wasn't quaranteed(which was a total lie because I called Ramada customer service and asked). The desk just said that because they had over booked the non-smoking rooms. So for the first night we had to sleep in a smoking room when we had asked for a non-smoking room. With a lot of insisting I was able to be moved. After I got the room I had asked for and wasn't treated like a second class everything was good.

it was wonderful the staff was very welcoming and i request early check in and even though there wasnt any rooms avaliable she gave me the first room they had and it was perfect and quiet i was able to catch up on some much needed rest..

Continental breakfast and fitness center, fridge, key safe. Location to exit to hotel and go around, kind of out of the way. Was surprised a continental breakfast was included, loved that and loved having a fridge in the room!

The staff was helpful and accommodating. The room was nice, with a large bathroom and very comfortable bed. The only thing that could be improved was the continental breakfast, but they did have waffles. The price was good and so was my experience.
