	Date of Stay: December, 2008
The Ramada Conference Center of Lexington, Lexington, Kentucky overall was in need of repair. My room had a leak in the bathroom sink. The hotel itself was very empty, so the restaurant and lounge were closed.

Bed was comfortable. The room smelled awful and needs remodeled. The room smelled extremely musty.

I was there on business for 27 nights. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. On the way to my room one time I went by the front desk and asked for new towels (I keep the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door) and the housekeeping lady was at the room before me. The location is great. The hotel is right next to the I-75 entrance. In my room, I heard very little noise from 75. Anyway, the circle (StRd 4) is 5 minutes away and I-64 is about 5 minutes away from I-75 entrance. Two words of warning: 1. There are sections of hotel without elevator access, so you may have to carry your bags up a flight of stairs. There are sections in the back of the hotel with elevator access. There is a section on the 2nd floor, to the right of the front desk, that is accessible with a valet cart. If this is important to you, find out the section your room is in first. 2. <Nothing to do with hotel> If you need to do any Bank of America business, there are no branches in Lexington. The nearest one is near Louisville. There are non-Bank of America ATMs around. You may want to go to your branch before you leave home. Once again, nothing to do with hotel. Doug from Florida

We stayed here in July of 08' on a family vacation. The room was very dirty with two dead beetle like bugs on the bathroom floor. The carpet was sticky underfoot. To prove it to myself I let my toddler son run around for 10 minutes with his shoes off after cleaning his feet. After 10 minutes they showed signs of dirt and soil. My own feet just felt sticky and I had to wear shoes around the room. The shower temperature changed dramatically without even touching the knobs. And when the bathroom sink was turned on all the way it spit out black water. It was horrible and I will never stay there again. We paid $* and it truly was a $40 night hotel. The beds were comfortable and sheets clean and crisp. The bathroom towels were also very clean. That is all I have to say positive about this hotel.

The location is bad. The hotel was not well maintained on the outside. We were nervous for our safety. My boyfriend had to go to the desk to request a Philliips screwdriver to tighten up the plate that the deadbolt went into. The room was not cleaned the first day. When we went to the desk, we were told that we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. We replied, Only until 10:30 a.m. and were told, essentially, that we missed the opportunity to have the room cleaned, trash emptied, etc. So, we made the bed, got towels from the front desk and emptied our own trash. The reply, when we complained was, That's not my problem. That is a true, literal quote. When the manager was approached, his reply was, I don't want to get involved. No apologies. We did not allow housekeeping into our room after that and, actually, planned to go find another hotel, but didn't. On the third day, a different front desk staff member gave us fresh towels, apologized and gave us coupons for a free breakfast. I've had better hotels in central Mexico.

Hairdryer, refrigerator, good ice machine. I could hear an ant walk by the room. Lousy beds and pillows, decorated in 1970. The room decor and mattresses were straight out of the 1970's and I believe that the pillows have been in this room since then. I could hear every move that anyone made on any floor of this hotel, and was afraid to even sneeze myself for fear of being heard. It was the poorest nights rest that I have ever had in a hotel. The rooms did have a small refrigerator and microwave, so that was the only plus that I gathered.

We took advantage of the Southern Lights package. We got a nice room, hot breakfast (that wasn't too "hot" temperature wise), and tickets to see the Christmas light display at the Kentucky Horse Park. All this was for $99! It was a good bargain! We really enjoyed the Christmas displays at the Park and they had wonderful Christmas music playing in Sigee's Restaurant! It was a very nice get away!

Everyone we met was friendly and involved in making our stay a very pleasant one; the room was attractive, comfortable and had a very easy to use Wi-Fi connection. We didn't have time to use the pool or fitness center but would have liked to; they looked great as well. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet. The only possible thing that could have improved the stay would have been being able to get a mint julep at the bar during the Kentucky Derby.

The hotel room itself was nicely equipped and generally appropriate for the provided star rating. Room we checked into had no water in toilet basin had to change rooms, dirty common facilities. I expected higher quality room, facilities, restaurants and staff. The hotel has potential to be great but it appears many aspects have simply fallen into disrepair and are not regularly maintained for general cleanliness in the common areas.

Quick check in. Dirty, noisy, stinky, uncomfortable beds, sheets, and pillows. This was a horrible place to stay. I'd rather have slept in my car. The bathroom was dingy--dirty grout, peeling paint, stained walls. The beds were hard, lumpy, and the sheets were thin and rough. The pillows were stinky and too firm/lumpy. The room smelled like smoke because someone was smoking in the hall. (Smell lingered all night.) The carpet looked like it had not been cleaned in ages and there were crumbs, hair, food pieces, and dust under the bed and other furniture and in the corners. The window was cracked and filthy. Our view (what little I actually could see out the dirty window) was of a parking lot and messy garbage area. The air conditioner was musty / moldy. Need I say more?

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It is old and in need of renovation/remodeling. While the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms had a few problems. The knob on the heater was broken, the show head was broke, the elevator was dirty and the gym equipment was in need of repair. However, for casual travel, the room was clean and the location was great. If not for the great staff, I would be hesitant to recommend this hotel.

Close to university of Kentucky. The first room smelled with wet carpet. The second only had full beds, very uncomfortable, not updated. Very unpleasant, room smelled and the carpet was wet. Old furniture, uncomfortable bed. I would never have chosen this hotel on mine own.

Nice courtyard area, desk personnel friendly. Had brown paper covering window, so no natural light. Room smelled funny like mold. Would not return, too much money for a room that smelled like mold and no natural lighting.

Spacious rooms. Bed linens were not clean. While the rooms were spacious and the staff friendly, the cleanliness of the rooms left something to be desired. I found a used tissue as well as hair in my bed linens which led me to believe the linens had not been changed since the last visitor. Totally unacceptable!
