I loved the pool area. We were able to watch our child swim as we sat relaxing in the lounge area. For couples with kids, unless your children will eat hot, spicy Cajun food, I would not take them to The Bourbon Street Bistro and Bar in the hotel. They didn't have a kids menu and we ended up spending a lot of money on food my kids didn't eat. However, if you do like that type of food then you will love this place.

Staff very friendly and helpful, clean, good location. Rooms by bar and pool very noisy, bathroom very small. We would use this hotel again, except maybe away from pool and bar area. Very noisy until after 11:00 p.m. Bathroom was very small. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was very good but food was very spicy. We appreciated the helpful and accomodating staff at the front desk. I had forgotten to call ahead for handicap accessible room and they tried really hard to accommodate my needs. Overall our stay was short by enjoyable.

Our room was a pleasant surprise on our trip home from Colorado. We drove until we were exhausted and found a coupon in a travel magazine for this hotel. The room was very pretty and clean!! After some of the rooms we'd booked on our trip this was such a welcome break. If I had any complaints it was that I found a couple dead bugs in the bathroom. Also the front desk was super super swamped and the poor woman had only a trainee helping her. She was super nice and as efficiant as possible. There was a wedding going on and we heard no noise!! No elevator though.

Stopped for a one night stay while traveling through Nebraska. The hallways stunk like mold and mildew and the hall doorways were sticky when you touched them. The room was terrible. The bathroom door had holes in it and the hairdryer and tissue holder were both broken. The pool was disgusting- had stuff floating around in it and doesn't look anything like the on-line pictures. There was trash all over outside so you can tell at first glance that they don't take care of the property. Free continental breakfast was okay. We couldn't wait to leave and will never stay again!

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the years. There had come a point where I would stay at the Ramamda Kearney as a last resort. The rooms were filthy and out dated. The service was just as poor , trying to get that fixed was a nightmare! I was amazed, the room they put me in was freshly remodeled, the bed and pillows were of a much higher quality than those they had before. The room was clean and was missing the spiderwebs in the corners of the room and the moldy smell. I was in shock! Now I know that I need a king non smoking room and they have been putting me in the same area where the rooms are very nice. I am not sure if the poor quality rooms still exist but I am not willing to take a chance to find out. I stay at this hotel for business, and while it is very accomodating for my work, the wifi signal is somewhat a hit and miss. Which sometimes causes some problems. Overall this hotel is by far the best in the Kearney area.

This was one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. We were notified of their construction at check-in when they noticed we had children (even though we asked about their facilities and made it clear we had children when making the reservation). The pool was disgustingly filthy. The "putting green" doesn't exist. Their "family atmosphere" doesn't exist. The room was beyond gross, bathrooms were moldy and doors and walls were falling apart. When we complained to management about the facility he blew us off and told us we could find someplace else to stay if we would like. Their "tiki bar"..... not sure there are words to describe how dangerous it is because it's not very stable at all. If you have a family, don't stay here.....stay at the Holiday Inn across the street. Their staff seems very friendly and very willing to try to help out.

Our stay started by checking in at 3:45pm and the front desk staff told us that the rooms weren't ready but were guaranteed to be ready by 4:00pm to check in. So we left and went to wash our car and came back about 4:25pm and they gave us the keys. When we went to go take our bags to the rooms the hotel cleaning staff was still in there cleaning. This was at 4:35pm. Later as we were enjoying the pool and drinks the kids were excited about swimming until 12:30am. The front desk had told us that the pool was open until then and there were signs throughout the hotel which said this as well. At 12:00pm a hotel employee came out and told everyone at the pool that it was closed now and we would have to return to our rooms. We told him that all there signs said 12:30am and my husband asked to speak with his manager. The employee told us he preferred not to get him because he was busy and that the times had changed but the signs weren't removed. When we told them that the front desk told us that as well he said they were all new and didn't know what they were talking about.

Easy on off with interstate, good pool and great benefits with 2 drink tickets and 4 breakfast passes. Could have been cleaner - bathroom left a bit to be desired. Good stop over stay hotel. Great lounge and bar area - right by pool. Only issue was it seemed fairly empty and our room was right below the pool bar, would have liked to been a ways away, but bar did close at 11 and we were not effected by noise at all.

Hotel staff was generally courteous and helpful. Hotel itself is in need of general updating. Hallways worn and have a musty odor with follows into the rooms. Rooms in generally good repair, but could use carpet upgrade. Got the impression that online travel web site customers got the lower quality rooms because of reduce rates.

The Ramada Inn - Kearney is one of the better hotels in the area for the money. The room was and bathroom were clean with a refrigerator and frezer and internet connectivity. Another plus is the large indoor dome area with pool table, mini golf, and a larger than normal swimming pool. The hotel also has a restaurant, tree-top lounge, and a bar with live music. This was really a decent stopover for the business traveller or the family vacationer.

Hotel is recently remodeled, and looks nice. Rooms are nice inside and the pool is gorgeous. Convenient location to Convention Center. But...I requested a non-smoking room, which I got, but it was in a hallway with smoking rooms. My room and therefore all of my clothes reeked of smoke throughout my stay. Staff was generally uninterested in their guests. I could not change rooms, even after I complained about the smoke, and I got rude service at check-in and check-out. I probably won't stay there again.

The Ramada Inn was comfortable and the staff friendly. Due to the fact that the indoor pool area was just off of our room, we felt our room seemed very humid/damp. We were displeased with the drainage in the shower which added to the discomfort. The location was convenient off the interstate and had dining options in close and convenient proximity.

The lobby was great looking! Our room was directly outside of the in-hotel bar and people were drunk and loud! We couldn't go to sleep until the bar closed! I would never stay here again! The walls were so thin that I could hear everything, people peeing, people laughing, people getting drunk at the hotel bar! At one point someone tried to get into our room cause the hotel either had double booked it or someone was drunk, but my family was scared. The hot water in the sink did not work either! And there was a terrible smell in the hallways, maybe a drunk person from the night before had gotten sick, not sure.

The free breakfast isn't worth going to - the food is not very good - Hospitality is very limited.

Pool is fun and the Tiki bar in a tree is awesome with cheap drinks. Basic rooms, nothing too special. I have stayed here several times. This time the heater in the pool was broken. We were there for my sons birthday party, so the pool was not being heated, although they didn't officially close it until the morning because it was too cold. Other than that they have been doing renovations and the rooms are starting to really look nice. If you stay here I recommend the poolside rooms.

The rooms were adequate. Too noisy, bathroom small. My room was right by the bar and there was loud music and talking until after 12:30. I didn't get much sleep. I feel that would be ok for people that party. The noise was so loud I could not hear the TV.

"This hotel is horrible. It is dirty and in very poor repair. The bathrooms have mold and dirt around the grout, the carpet is dirty, the complimentary breakfast was fair, but the eating area was dirty. I am back in Kearney this weekend and I have already told 3 people not to stay there. The hotel needs to be gutted and redone, It was a really great place to stay years ago!"
