I'll start with the good first, easy check-in, clean room, loved the mini-fridge & microwave, great view, very close to many attractions. Then the bad came into play. Free in-room wireless internet service was absolutely terrible! Very slow & hard to connect & get a good signal. I called the front desk only to find my room's phone was a mess. Tons of static & snap-crackle-pop sounds, I could barely hear the front desk clerk. They said they would reset the internet (didn't work) & also send maintenance up to check out my phone, he did & heard how bad it was so brought me a new phone...no luck...brought a new phone wire...no luck. Guess the problem was in the jack itself, who knows? Anyway, if you need good internet for work or whatever I do not think you will be happy here. I was very frustrated for 2 days. Luckily the last day I was able to snag a wireless signal from a nearby hotel & use theirs...thank goodness it didn't require a password! If you don't need to use a computer I think you will find this place very nice.

Location, view of the lake. Disrepair. 2 different lights in the room were not working. Adequate overnight accommodations, close to parks and shopping on International Drive.

We had a great stay in the Ramada, the rooms were spotless, the beds the most comfortable we had ever slept in, and the reception staff were most helpful and friendly. It got a bit noisy on the Friday night with loud music from the funfair next door, but apart from that I would highly recommend this hotel and it was amazing value

the staff was very nice but the rooms were just ok, the ac didn't work very well ,our toilet overflowed into our room the 2nd day there and we rented two rooms and in both rooms the door would stick so you had to be extra careful when leaving your room to slam the door or it would stay ajar, the hotel itself could use some work but like i said earlier the staff was great. not sure if i would stay again though.

I would not recommend to stay at the Ramada Lakefront. FIrst of all, the bathroom had ants crawling along the sink. The front desk service was okay but not very helpful especially when an item was stolen from our hotel room. All the hotel would say is sorry but they are not responsible for items left in the hotel room, that are unprotected or left out. They did, however, mention that there was a safe in the room, which any items left in the safe the hotel would be responsible for but for an additional fee. If looking to stay on International Drive in Orlando, I would strongly recommend selecting another hotel.

Not happy with the fact that the hotel had some flodding issues and they switch our reservation to another fascility without informing us ahead of time. I was able to get a room at the hotel that I originally booked but only after I made a fuss about the cleaniness of the other fascility. I also had problems with the tv set, and it took them twenty four to resolve it. Continental breakfast was an issue only coffe, milk and cereal and could not be taken back to the room.

Each room has a beautiful lake view. Location can't be beat. Menus were pushed under our door on a daily basis by restaurant employees. I was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of the room. The pillows were plush and the sheets looked new. The room has a beautiful lake view. The quality of the hotel is way above a one star. There were only 2 negatives. The ice machine on our floor was out of ice also, it was annoying to have menus pushed under our door every day (sometimes twice a day). I would definitely stay there again.

I stayed at this hotel in early November. The location on i-drive is excellent. The rooms are clean, with a coffee maker, fridge, safe etc. Universal studios is 20mins(walk) or 7 dollars by taxi. The breakfast area is a bit small and there is only one computer for internet use. They have wireless connections for those with laptops though. I would stay at the hotel again.

Hotel is set back from I-drive and backs up onto a lake, so was very quiet, almost no traffic noise. I agree with the other reviewers, breakfast is very crowded and only open to 8:30. We ended up getting some milk and cereal since there's a minifridge in the room so we could eat when we wanted. Location was convenient to attractions and there's an I-trolley stop close by if you want to use that. One of the problems we had was that we were put in an adjoining room on a smoking floor, but weren't told it was a smoking floor, which was the 3rd floor. We came back on night 3 out of 5 to a room that smelled like smoke. I asked about it the next morning, and they did offer to let us change rooms, but we didn't want to have to pack up all our stuff again since the trip was more than half over. But you should ask about that when checking in, especially if anyone in your group has asthma. Housekeeping was mediocre, not great, but not the worst either. Overall, would probably stay there again because the location was so nice, just would make sure to ask if we were on a smoking floor or not next time!

1 of the 2 elevators was broken and then the staff would block the elevator for house keeping duties. Had to use the stairs when you're on the 8 th floor.also the vending machines were busted.

I like the computer in the lobby. We were able to check restaurants on line ourselves. I like the continental breakfast. The fruits were fresh.We had soap and even shower caps. We travel frequently,and never had the use of a computer in a hotel lobby.We would definitely go back there if we are ever in Orlando.

Decent hotel with nice view. Wonderful swimming accommodations. Rooms should be checked prior to check-in to make sure everything is working properly. Good hotel for the money and convenient location with nice view.

Walking Distance To Wet N Wild, many attractions on I-Drive. Continental Breakfast goes fast, be there early, as they do not replenish. (Ponderosa right around the corner has a $3.99 Hot Breakfast Buffet)

This hotel is in a great location. Very close to universal studios...and just miles from disney. Overall for the money and location it is a good value! The cont breakfast could have been better not much of a selection. The pool is niced sized and heated. The rooms are clean and comfortable they serve their purpose, you really don't spend much time in your room! The showers didn't have alot of pressure at peak times but ther was plenty of hot water.They have a computer in the lobby internet access slow and you always have to wait for someone to finish using the computer. Other than that this hotel is a good value and I would recommend. I would recommend this hotel ,staff was friendly. It's a clean comfortable hotel.

bugs in room! aka code 3! sent maintenance to spray. waffles on breakfast bar only every other day, waffle days there are not enough seats for guests to sit. only one person working the breakfast bar and couldnt keep up with demands of guests. no hot tub. pool cold. not enough electrical outlets in rooms. motel outside doors, open to public. hot water would cut off in shower. u barely get what u pay for. charged for safe, u have to ask front desk to take off charges after you have paid. wished we stayed somewhere else.

We did Sea World, Aquatica, Universal and Wet N Wild...hotel located across the lake from wet n wild..and not far at all from other parks....restaurants and stores all within walking distance....

Good location if going to Universal or Disney. Entrance to hotel is clustered and hard to see when you first get there. Nice hotel. The continental breakfast was nothing to brag about. The room where breakfast is served is very small and get very crowded. Rooms are comfortable and kept clean. Nice view from room.

We tried to check in at noon and were told that we would need to wait until three, Okay. We took a cab (to avoid parking nightmares) to our convention and when we returned to the hotel at 4:30 to check in we were informed that an entire floor of the hotel had flooded and that we wad been re booked at another hotel. Odd enough I am in the Water Damage and Reconstruction business and there were NO signs of a water damage to the facility. While waiting for the cab I overheard the desk staff talking about how it was silly to take discounted rooms when there were plenty of high rate paying customers. I am convinced that we were booted from the resort and send to a lower grade facility because of our discounted rate. The hotel we were sent to had a tattered chain link fence around the property and looked to have been built in the 70's, had some shady looking loiterers around, not a safe looking place. We canceled out reservations and drove 100 miles south back home. Wasted a day.

The Ramada was at the heart of International Drive in Orlando. It was close to everything. They had a delicious continental breakfast. It was only 10 minutes from Universal Studios. We never lacked for things to do. The rooms were clean and the pool was very clean. Service was good. It was a good value for the money.
