A few years ago we stayed at this hotel and found it in bad shape. I didn't want to stay there again but we liked the idea of the room opening out to the courtyard. So I decided to give it another chance. It is now under new ownership and I was VERY delighted at the changes. The decor has a tropical theme, including real palms and banana trees planted by the pool. Breakfast is included, frig and microwave in rooms. And the rooms are clean. The only disappointment was the breakfast. The room had been open only 2 weeks so there are kinks that need to be worked out. I would definitely stay there again. Good experience.

the room and sheets were clean, the airconditioning and bathroom worked fine. The non-smoking room really was non-smoking, no tobacco stink, as often happens in the cheaper hotels. Carpets and furniture are well-worn and looking tired.

It was dingy, dirty, hair in the bathroom, trash cans were dirty, room smelled bad. I expected a higher standard on the room due to the price and will not stay there again.

Although the location was excellent the room was not clean the sheets were disgusting and the toilet was filthy. It definitely was not a 2 or 3 star hotel.

I was surprised that Ramada wouldn't have a continental breakfast provided but enjoyed having a small refrigerator and microwave available. I also appreciated the grassy area for pets to do their business since I brought my dog on this vacation. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions to the Colorado Monument.

Grand junction has been in a hotel boom and those that have been there forever are reaping the benefits without the cost of upgrading.

The Ramada surprised me at how clean and bright it was, and the staff was very friendly. The only thing I did not like is that they do not have a fitness center, but provide a pass to a local fitness center, which is great. However, the Ramada only has one
