Location, nice bar on premises. Can be noisy, lots of kids running around during our stay,WiFi spotty. Nice location off the toll road, convenient to South Bend/Notre Dame and cheaper than Mohawk, clean rooms and nice bar/restaurant, good value.

everything about it was amazing. it was clean and very roomy. its great for kids. it has the biggest/ deepest pool ive seen at a hotel. it also has a jacuzzi and a kids pool. the fitness room is open all hours and is also fun. i would recomend staying here.

The beds were good. Lots of hot water. Walls thin. Hallways filled with noisy children until 9 pm. Our stay was short but pleasant. The design of the hotel was such that children played in the halls after coming from the pool and the walls being thin it was loud.

Low end trucker motel. My experience was not good. The front desk girl was not professional, but had to be broken away from a phone conversation with a friend to check me in. The first room given, smelled like smoke as well as second room. The third room was decent, but marred by the experience with the prior two rooms.

Very close to highway. First room smelled of stale smoke. Hotel is fine for a night. Overall it was clean. I wouldn't stay here for a romantic weekend, but it worked well for what we needed it for, a place to crash when the drive home was too long to make.

Clean rooms and great front desk help! The pool areas needed some work. Smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms were in very close proximity, not good for asthmatic children. Overall the hotel was a great place to stay. We have stayed in 3 different hotels in the area and this one was by far the best! The rooms were adequate and vending wasn't too far. There was a great lounge area around the pool, however the wading pool and the hot tub need a bit of maintenance. The icing on the cake would be a breakfast bar. On the flip side, Bennigan's Restaurant is attached to the hotel, so we didn't have to go far for breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to those looking for a safe, clean place to stay with their family. One of the better Ramada's I have seen in quite a while.

New carpeting and paint. TV was nailed down - couldn't be rotated - watch from one position only.

Location. Cleanliness. Location from highway excellent, however the cleanliness was no where near the Jameson across the street.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. There was construction going on for hotel quite early in the morning and we could not keep the window open due to the noise. I wish that someone would have mentioned it when I checked in.

Nice grounds. Was a non smoking room, but had a odd of cigarettes. Okay for one night.

Pools. Hallways very hot. The hotel was alright. The hallways were extremely hot. Overall hotel needs overhaul. The swimming pools were very nice.

The pool is someplace for kids to blow off steam. They don't give you pool costs up front. The rooms are very basic. I think they stuck us in what used to be a smoking room. There was the smell of stale smoke. It was very clean but kind of dingy.

Location & beds were comfortable. No breakfast, had to pay extra for a rollaway bed, not good value for the money. I would not recommend it for the above reasons.

It was in Elkhart. Smelled of smoke even it was non smoking. Old, worn, in need of updating. It was like going back to the 1960's. I would not stay there again.
Date of Stay:

Room was clean. Too noisy and did not get any rest. Not a controlled environment for other customers. Do not ever take a room by the pools. Regardless inside or out. Very noisy. No sleep. Staff was not helpful when I called the front desk about the noise. Carpeting needs replacing in hallways/torn on way into inside pool. It was raining outside but the carpet inside that let to the pool from the hallway was soaked wet. Many flooring issues.

Nothing! It was filthy! The television had poor reception. The beds were the worst in my extensive experience. The lobby smelled of cigarette smoke. The staff wasn't very friendly. A maids cart sat in the middle of the hall in front of our room all night long. The beds were the worst I have ever experienced. The room was absolutely filthy! I was too tired to complain, but I will never stay in another Ramada!

We thought the pool area was great; however, the air temperature was way too cool. We did not like the bathroom; short ceilings, poor lighting and no ceiling fan. When we checked in, we were assigned to the back "40". The end of our hallway had stacks of, obviously, boxed supplies. These items did not hinder us but we just wondered whether the market rate customer was subject to this same situation. We did have the breakfast buffet on our first morning but, even with the $2 discount allotted to residents making it a $5.99/per breakfast, we saw a hostess one time, she got us coffee and then she disappeared. My husband wanted some milk but we never had the chance to ask about this. Our hostess's voice could be heard from the bar area.

Clean comfortable room. Still shows signs of age. Good value for money.

Staff was friendly and courteous. Hotel had more than 5 people in rooms which disturbed the entire floor of guests. Hotel needs to have more control of the guests and stick to their policies about the limit of people allowed to stay in each hotel room. Also need to control guests and behavior in common areas of the hotel. We had a very poor experience.

The staff was extremely helpful, courteous and available. The room smelled bad-I had to buy a scented candle and leave it burning. The staff was very kind and helpful. The pool area was kept up nicely. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent.
