The Ramada was a very nice, clean place to stay. The bathroom was all connected, wish the sink area had been separate from the shower area, so more of us could have gotten ready at the same time. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

We enjoyed the live band and the quality of our room. It smelled like chlorine in the main hotel area. Overall I enjoyed by stay.

The hotel was very nice, comfortable room, and great breakfast. I was traveling with a dog and the hotel was very dog friendly. Couldn't tell they allowed dogs, as the room was fresh smelling and very clean. The breakfast was great! They had a different hot selection each day, fresh fruit, cereal, etc. The only downside was that the walls are thin. I could hear the guy in the room next to me, but at least he wasn't too loud.

An old hotel with a face lift. The lobby and the 1st floor look good. The room on the other hand is different matter. The bathroom was little, all the outlets were taken, and little space to put things. The A/C didn't work very well during the day. The restaurant at the hotel closed early on weekdays, but stay open all day Fri & Sat. So if after 1:30 pm your out of luck and there are no restaurants close to the hotel. And finally the free High Speed is a joke it only works on 1st Floor no repeaters.

It was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast bar was excellent - hot or cold items.

I booked this hotel in combination with my air arrangement from Wash/National to Kansas City as a package through online travel website, and received a very good bargain (subtracting the airfare from the prepaid package price results in a hotel price of $50.25 per night for two nights! I had to be in Topeka for business, so this looked like a good location. After staying at the Ramada Downtown Topeka, I would consider this as one of the best bargain stays that I have had, and I travel a lot on business -- perhaps 50+ nights per year. For the price, the room I received was well beyond my expectations (very large double queen room in the tower with sofa, refrigerator, and microwave); the facilities were excellent and far exceeded expectations (nice airy atrium with a small gym, nicely heated pool and hot tub; the personnel were very well trained and efficient, and the amenities were outstanding (free wireless internet, free hot buffet breakfast for each day I stayed). All the basics were also covered by this Ramada -- clean everything (room, halls, common areas), and polite and helpful staff. The one thing that was a bit puzzling to me was that when I checked the same hotel for the same nights either on the Ramada website, or any other hotel booking website, the price for the same room always showed up as $85 or $86 per night plus tax, which would bring it up to nearly $100 per night.

Quality of the room. Slow check in process. We chose a 2 room suite that included a whirlpool tub. The room was even better than we expected. Very romantic and perfect for the couple that wants a place to relax.

Housekeeping did not make up my room 2 out of the 5 days I stayed . Great hotel, but housekeeping is awful.

"The room was small and the dead bolt was broken. Breakfast was cold, help was not friendly. Complained and have not had any response from manager or corporate. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone!"

Hot breakfast. Crowded - lots of meeting people converging on the lobby and breakfast at the same time. Older hotel in the downtown area. As expected with the age needs some remodeling and work. Price was ok for the location and age of the hotel.

Great breakfast. Decorations were slightly out of date. Great hotel for the money. Great location. Would definitely stay there again.

The amenities were very nice. Lots of conventions. Had to walk through them to get to room. Clean, nice lobby and pool area and good breakfast. Also nice to have a club and restaurant in the building.

Older looking bathrooms. It was clean, beds were hard.

The staff was friendly and eager to please. The first room was old, no view, air conditioner did not work well but they moved us quickly to another. This is an older hotel, and depending on which wing your room is in, you could have a nice room or an older-style less-attractive one. The staff is very friendly and the atrium was lovely. Plenty of restaurants around and easy access to the highway.

We liked the atmosphere of the public area. It was unique. The breakfast looked much better than it tasted - very little seasoning used. Ramada personnel were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable and we really enjoyed the uniquely designed public area. On the down side only one elevator was in working order and the free breakfast certainly wasn't very tasty.

The room was clean and the fridge was a nice size. There were several events in town, so even with the discount the hotels jacked all the prices up. We were not at the hotel much, but the rooms were clean and the service was good. We had a suite, so it was nice to have the two bathrooms. The fridge was a good size (we brought a cooler to pack our lunches) and it was nice to have a microwave. The complimentary breakfast was good and appreciated with our busy schedule.
