Close to freeway. Room was freezing cold. There were only outside entrance room at this hotel, which I was not aware of when I booked the room. The lady behind the desk took about 20 minutes with phone calls and talking to other people before she even acknowledged that I was waiting to check in. The door and giant window in the room were very leaky, and it was very cold at night. Also, they apparently don't use any kind of fabric softener in their linens, I zapped myself on everything metal in the room for 2 straight days. I will not stay at this hotel again.

Booked the hotel knowing Ramada is a quality hotel chain. !! Pool was closed the entire time we were there, menus for restaurant that's not even open, room smelled like dollar store air freshner. The hotel is set up like section 8 housing, with every room having an exterior door facing the pool, so you could hear every little movement (ice machine being used) from inside. Located far away from everything! Ghetto. I have stayed at run down motels nicer than this! Although the staff is very nice, and continental breakfast was served..do not stay here..you will be EXTREMELY disappointed.

Proximity to the SBTS campus and very easy access from hwy. They told us we would have a refrigerator for our extended stay but they never got us one. We were pleased with the hotel overall but, were disappointed that the free breakfast did not include a waffle machine. We stayed here last year and they did. We were so looking forward to that hot part of the breakfast. But things were good overall. Very nice pool even though we did not use it.

Like the title says, not what I would expect from a Ramada. The room had a funny odor and the pictures on the web are misleading. My husband and I had prepaid for the room but we did not stay. It was hot and the a/c was not running so the room just felt that much worse. The first person at the front desk was not helpful but the second young lady was very helpful in us obtaining a full refund. Thank you!

The room was nice for the price. I liked the swimming pool. Staff was very friendly. They were remodeling the restaurant and game room. Restaurant was closed and nearest fast food area was a good 5 miles away. Hotel was nice. Swimming pool was great. Restaurant was closed and to go to far for good food. Staff was so friendly. Answered all my questions and changed my single bed room to a double with no problem. I would go back.

We where there for a business conference in Louisville and this hotel was a mess. Looks like it had not been updated since the early 80's. would have left but this was the only thing left in town for that weekend when I booked two months earlier.NEVER AGAIN

The location was terrific for what I wanted. The coffee pot was horrible. The hotel rooms are just what you can expect, clean with a minimum amount of utensils. When you stay you just need to bring essentials, paper towels, ash tray, coffee needs, however it is for a 4 cup pot, and regular filters do not work.

Don't be fooled by the name, this hotel is not ""downtown."" In fact its a short drive on the highway from downtown Louisville. Its also not new or recently updated, but everything was fine. When I was there it was quiet, and I had no complaints. Fortunately I did not need to be downtown.

Staff was friendly. Rooms were very poorly kept. I have stayed at this particular hotel several times. It is older but was always kept clean. Not this time! Old is not an excuse for dusty, unclean, dirty, smoke-smelling rooms. One of the days the continental breakfast was totally empty of food. I had to ask at the front desk if I missed it. I didn't, they were getting ready to restock it.

The pictures of the hotel on the web are very misleading. Even the lobby, enterance area is misleading. The lobby looks very nice and you think you are going to the rooms from there, but then the nightmare begins when you drive around to the back and see dirty run-down motel-like rooms. The hotel rooms were dirty. The hotel rooms were not enclosed in a hotel, the entry to the rooms were from outside (like a motel). Even though I had already paid for the room, I almost just left. I was so glad we were there just one night, I definetly would not have stayed longer.

It was comfortable and fitting for the price. Several people hanging around outside in the parking lot that had no direction or purpose but maybe trouble. We were there three nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was okay, but it could use a little tender loving care - maybe new drapes, bedspreads and something to give the room a "pleasant" smell. I understand it's hard to have a public service and expect it to stay top notch and I also understand that if too much upgrading is done, then the price must go up. So for what you pay for the room, it's okay.

Great location, very convenient. Bed appeared to be broken or mattress had never been changed, it leaned badly to one side. Wireless internet did not work, and then only very slowly after they "fixed" it. They advertised a fitness room, but had none. I waited 30 minutes for a sandwich in the restaurant and I was the only customer. When it came it was not that great and cost $11.00 (they charged me for a refill of tea while I waited for the sandwich!). Door key only worked after trying a few times, very annoying. When I went to check out at 6 am I had to wake the man up behind the desk and the continental breakfast was non existent.

Inexpensive and clean. Man hanging out of room next door all night and next day. Hotel was fine but not concerned about man hanging around.

Staff was great & close to everything we wanted to do. We were there over labor day & restaurant & bar were closed at the hotel. The staff was helpful in giving us directions to anywhere we wanted, and the hotel is only 2 miles from all the attractions we wanted. Rooms were clean & if we wanted anything additional like coffee, pillows, etc. They were very accommodating, in all if we ever went back to Louisville, we were probably stay at the Ramada inn, Zorn again.

It was clean and quiet. Staff was great. None. This was a great hotel for the money! We had a nice quiet and clean room. The pool was great and the staff was super nice. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with a family. It is a little out of the way but worth it! We were very comfortable there.

Wonderful staff. Very clean. Many areas in need of repair. Run down. Needs updating. The staff was most helpful and friendly.

The shower heads were amazing! Nothing. The price was outstanding for the type of hotel experience we had. We moved our kids into the seminary that day and after a hard working hot day, the shower was absolutely relaxing. We hope to stay with you again in the near future!

It reminded me of a hotel I stayed in when I was young. It smelled like a hotel I stayed in when I was young. The same motel. Must be the Ramada smell. Great hotel.

Pleasant informative competent and efficient staff. Continental breakfast was very sparse. The room was clean; there was little exterior noise so we slept well. The only drawback was the continental breakfast. It should have included some fruit and some healthier (whole-grain) choices.
Date of Stay:
February, 2007
Locale located in an uncongested locale yet very close to downtown Louisville and many quality resturants. Some amenities showing their age. Noisy fan on heating system and daylight showing around room door when closed.
