The hotel is located less than 1 mile from downtown in an interesting, multi-racial neighborhood which seems to be safe and full of character. We booked the night before we arrived and still got a great deal.

Room looked beautiful. Unfinished wood and copper light covers throughout hotel looked run down. The room was beautiful, but the hotel itself seemed like it is getting run down.

The information provided about the hotel needs to be updated (probably their website?) as there is no full restaurnat - they only have breakfast service. The service wasn't great, and the food was just o.kay. We attended a concert and arrived back at the hotel around 11:30. The back entrance elevator was shut down, but we waitied a while before we realized we needed to walk to the lobby elevator to get to our room. I suppose for the price...

Hotel was not far from Downtown activities and was closer to the Botanical Gardens. Offers a free shuttle for those who don't want to walk the mile or so to downtown. Rooms were very nice and spacious.

Our children's choir stayed here for the last two days of their trip from NC. We were greeted with friendliness, courtesy and great hospitality. Great shuttle service to wherever we wanted to go for free. The staff was knowledgeable and experienced regarding the city. They treated us very well and even set out a breakfast buffet at 3:00am for the kids so they would not be hungry on the long plane trip home. We could not have asked for better treatment. It's nice to know that people still care about groups and how they are treated. We will stay there again if ever in Denver. Thanks to all who helped make our trip a great success.

Attended a conference. Walked from Hotel to conference site (about 1.2 miles) Great weather helped. Could have used Bus if necessary. Neighborhood - colorful, homeless and run down store fronts - somewhat less than appealing. First day, walked the 16th st strip. Second through 5th day - conference. Walk allowed me to see Food places I would have passed by if in a vehicle.

Convenient location. Too close to run down Denver part. Nice place to stay, staff was friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable. I would stay there again, but not a place to bring children. It lyes on the border of the good and bad side of town.

Hotel is not in downtown. Hotel is in area known as "the fax", one of Denvers high crime areas. I had my camera stolen from the lobby. When Denver P.D. tried to look at the video, they were told the cameras weren't recording. Hotel staff would not let me fill out a claim. Staff very rude and would not assist me or the police about the theft. The officer that came out said this was the 3rd time he had been to this hotel because of theft(all stolen from the lobby). Every time he was told the cameras weren't working or recording. Shuttle service is horrible. 6pm pickup showed up at 7pm. Had to take a taxi because we could not get the shuttle to show up on another day. Approached by people in front of the hotel wanting money(sayed they were homeless). Service so bad that 5 of the groups got up and left. We stayed and the food was bad. Taxi service to hotel from the airport will cost $65 and up. Towels in room were dirty, sheets had holes in thems, and air conditioner in room did not cool during the day. A/C in lobby not on, front door open the entire time. Distances to downtown farther than what web site says, and we were told that do to the high crime in the area we should not attempt walking to downtown. Locals working in downtown and at Coors Field all said that hotel was in a bad area and they would recommend staying in "downtown" or outside of denver and renting a car.

The hotel smells very bad. We were very disspointed when we get into this Ramada. It is so different from all the other Ramadas that we have stayed. Rooms are dirty. Hotel lobby is smelly. Sheets are old. We have roaches crawling on the wall. This Denver downtown Ramada looks like a very cheap dirty motel. I don't know how they get into the Ramada chain. I wonder if Ramada ever sends quality assurance people to see their hotels are up to standard. Will definitly not stay there again. Won't recommend anybody staying there.

hey there's nothing bad about this hotel. If the location is good for you, then stay there. It's nothing fancy. It had kind of a funny smell -oh well...downtown in any major city in the USA smells kind of funny I guess. Staff was decently helpful. I would have enjoyed the option of room service or a better restaurant on site, but oh well. Denver's a weird city anyway.

we had a great stay the staff was helpful and kind. also a must visit dicicco's itilian resturant right down the street within walking distance of this hotel. it is very classey and had excellent service. for the money this hotel is sooo worth every penny and i would certaniley stay again.

The free shuttle was useful. The restaurant and bar was closed for remodeling Except for the bar and restaurant being closed, I was pleased with this hotel.

Although hotel was located in older part of city, they provided shuttle service wherever you wanted to go. Staff was friendly, helpful and courteous. We were within walking distance of restaurants, 7Eleven and other facilities. There were some panhandlers, but they were also in the newer sections of the city. They did not bother us and we were comfortable walking to the restaurants/stores in the evening. Would stay there again.

The front desk staff was very helpful and the hotel was within walking distance of the Convention Center and several very good restaurants. The whole experience was very enjoyable.
