Date of Stay:
June, 2009
This was a hotel badly in need of renovation. The hotel staff were OK - but for example the housekeeping staff both days left the trashcan liners lying over the side of the can .. the first day I opened it up and put the trash in the bag to make it easier for them to empty the trash ... the second day FORGET IT - it was just ridiculous ... the tile on the side of tub had pubic hairs stuck to it (NOT OURS) - the tiles had dirt all over them ... the hall ceiling was tile and I could touch it (I'm 5'5" tall) it was just very disappointing.

Location and friendly staff. Badly in need of repairs and updates, continental breakfast was not very appetizing and ran out of coffee. Friendly staff and room appeared clean but had a smell.

Friendly staff. Coffeemaker, hair dryer, iron/ironingboard. Room and Linens clean. Bathroom clean. New shower curtain and curtain rod that bends out, so curtain doesn't cling to you. Great shower head. Good water pressure. Quiet AC. Older hotel. Rooms small, low ceilings. Bathroom small, no ventilation, gets stuffy and humid very quickly. They were skimpy with towels. Towels small and frayed. First day folded towels were on bathroom floor, no shampoo. Second day bed was barely made. Trash was not emptied. Pillows were cheap and lumpy. Maid wore the same dirty, torn shirt two days in a row, (that big hole was in the same place). Prices were hiked up for parents' weekend. Way too expensive for room quality.

The bathtubs in our rooms were disgusting, with mold in them! One of our rooms even had a long black hair stuck on the bathtub wall! There was little hot water- actually it was just lukewarm. I wouldn't stay here again! The place is obviously old and needs some work---but there's no excuse for being dirty.

It was great for what I needed. The price was good and the location was great!

The location. The decor was pretty drab. Good overall, great location, clean and friendly staff.

I have stayed at better places for less. The room was clean and housekeeping was timely. Free continental breakfast was ok. Nothing fancy. There is a computer with free internet at the lobby. The pool was nice but the hot tub, although hot had inoperable jets. Fine for a business trip or a getaway with the family.

Rooms were clean but old - bent clothes & towel racks. Some dirty towels were removed & not replaced while others were left. Very loud pool party which went on hours after supposed to be closed & only stopped after fight broke out. Trash was then left all over the area.

We liked that the hotel was easy to get around in my mom has trouble walking. The hot tub was cold. The hotel is located in the central area we needed between the mall and A&M the contenetal breakfast was great for Grab and Go on our departure Sunday.

The Hotel overall was satification, Road construction(not your problem) made it hard getting to the hotel, The breakfast service could be improved.

the room wasn't bad, but the hotel hallways, etc. are kinda dumpy - location is great, didn't use the pool, and it's decent for the price - it's just a room, though

Smelled like dog with dog hair in the beds. I would rather sleep in my truck than in this rat hole.Iwent down the street.

The Ramada at College Station was in a great location. It is under some renovation at the time of my stay. The beds were not very comfortable and should be replaced soon. The bathroom is very small and you could not get two people in it if you tried. The hotel was very clean and the continental breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly. The other thing is the chekc-in is located in one building and the roooms in another. You did not have to use a key to get in which I did not like as being single it was not a secure place I did not think. They should make it where only person staying there can get in.

Great. The comfort and prompt service. I enjoyed the surrounding, the comfort and the kindness shown while I was there.

I stayed here while shopping for a house. It was convenient to stores, restaurants, TAMU, and anything else you could need. The rooms, while not pristine, were clean. The continental breakfast had few choices and I was tired of it by the third morning, but it was better than having to buy breakfast. It was definitely worth the price I paid.

Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff plus a decent continental breakfast. The hotel is older and it shows. Things appear dingy from age, even though they are clean. It has everything we needed, but not many frills. It is and older hotel that hasn't done much to upgrade over time. But, the rooms were comfy and clean which is all I needed for our 1 night stay. The continental breakfast was average, but the Texas shaped waffle irons were a bright spot. My son enjoyed the older looking pool, but the Texas-shaped hot tub they boast about didn't work. The staff was very helpful and attentive to the needs of my small children. They let us check in early so my baby could nap and provided a brand new pack and play for her to sleep in.

The Ramada at College Station was quaint, the room was cozy and there were not loud/busy roads with noise. The location in relation the college is just what I needed. Great hotel, family friendly and good location!
