They have the best pillowsof any hotel. They need a parking area for semis and horse trailers.

We were very disappointed that this motel room was infested with fleas and also that the water did not drain in the shower. The staff did not seem interested in the need for something to be done to the room after we left. I would have made more of a fuss, but we were rushed to get a tour of Western Kentucky University. The university was great but the motel was not!

Location. The bar was infested with rednecks. If you are looking for a decent place, this will suit you. Don't be fooled by renovations. It's not a full scale renovation and doesn't change the fact that it's a so-so hotel with new bedspreads.

Our family just wanted to get away for the weekend and this inn was perfect. The place was clean, friendly & conveniently close to everything. We would definitely stay again.

Good location. Well worn, older property, needs attention to decor and maintenance.

This was my first trip to Bowling Green. We had a nice evening in the restaurant that is part of the hotel. There was 6 of us that had dinner, which was very good quality and value. I had a pork chop dinner and their Shrimp Cocktail. The Shrimp was probably the best I had ever had.(fresh and very generous portion) Service was excellent even though they were fairly busy. We had planned on just dinner and a drink, but had such a good time we stayed till closing. The lady that was the bartender was very polite and personable. That night they had a karaoke show that was the best any of us had ever experienced. The DJ was very professional with a great system and probably every karaoke song ever made. Our only complaint was we had such a tremendous time in the restaurant we didn't get much sleep. We are all looking forward to our return trips in the weeks to come.

Feeling of spaciousness when you enter main lobby, greeted by smiling reception, quickly checked in. Great first impression! No elevator to second floor. Difficult getting large suitcase up stairs. This Ramada Inn deserves a 3 star rating for its beautiful, spacious reception area, and the comfortable, nicely decorated rooms, all sparkling clean. The staff was very gracious and efficient. The only negative was the complimentary breakfast. The choices were limited and the food was cold. When they fix this, this can be a first rate hotel.

Everything was terrible! Service, customer relations, rooms, parking, language barrier - everything! About the only thing going for it is it's location. Avoid this one, there's much better in the area!

It was in a convenient location near many shopping areas and eateries. I didn't like the lighting of the hotel room. The hotel reeked of cigarette smoke when you entered the lobby. One of the desk clerks was nicer than the other, but not unbearable. One of the bed spreads had blood on them. When asked for a new one, the cleaning lady just laid the new bedspread on the bed, not make the bed as it was before. The lighting is dark as well.

The whole hotel smelled like an ashtray. Our room had roaches, mold in the bathroom and a broken window (outside of which local drunks fought all night). It took 30 min to get waited on in the restaurant and another 30 min to get our order, which was wrong when we got it. I would never stay here again! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Impressive lobby. Breakfast in restaurant. English not first language; no extra blankets, rollaway; flies on breakfast food. This hotel has an impressive lobby, but the rooms are only adequate, much of the help not helpful or English speaking, and the breakfast buffet offers a lot of flies, even though the food is mostly hot and the help personal.

"Outside door (#6) needs a replacement lock. I had to hike from door #5 or #7 (ie a long way) to the room with all our stuff. No luggage carts available. On the flip side of that, though, I had to admire the extra security. The breakfast vouchers for the next door eatery were great. Excellent breakfast made to order instead of the same old muffins and coffee ""continental"". The rooms were great size. Overall, a great stay for the money."

Lobby was very nice. Room was clean. Had fridge and microwave. We stayed in a room with a loveseat which definitely needed replacing. An adequate place to stay. Personnel was very nice.

Offers pool that is inoperable. Filled with green mosquito infested waters. Locks need to be updated too easy access to rooms

Friendly front desk. Needs a good cleaning throughout. A place to put your head for a nights sleep but you get what you pay for. The extra that we got was 2 nests of sparrows in the AC/heating unit that started their day off at 4:30 AM, no need for a wake up call with little ones chirping for food.

Cheap. Rundown. Hallways locked was my first clue this may not be a safe hotel. Then when the ladies in black leather halter top and tattoos showed up my fears were confirmed. I had 3 teenage girls in the group and I was concerned about their safety. We stayed away from the hotel as much as possible returning only to sleep. The pool was not opened and didn't look like it would be open any time soon. The hot breakfast was very disappointing.

Shower was absolutely disgusting dirty. Did not feel safe. Wings of hotel were not linked to lobby. Extremelysmoky even though in non smoking room.

It was clean and roomy. Our room was on second floor on a night when only 5 parties were staying there- very inconvenient with a toddler! It was clean, room was spacious, and the staff was friendlier and very courteous.
Date of Stay:

The hotel was just old but clean new paint and carpet. You had to use a regular key to enter the outside doors then a different key for your room key.
Date of Stay:
November, 2007
The room itself was nice and clean. The stairway could be cleaner and they could get an elevator for the 2nd floor. The hotel was nice; the only thing is they need an elevator. I know it only has two levels, but it still should have an elevator for guess, dragging luggage up steps is not fun.
