ac worked but not well enough for the 100plus weather the parking lot lights lit up the rooms even with the blinds shut good for security bad for sleep close to basspro and all casinos

The night staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hallways were very long, not well lit so it was kinda scary and the room had an odor to it. This hotel had a very nice lobby. If that is all you seen you would think it was wonderful but as soon as you go pass the double doors to where the rooms are it gets very scary. The hallways were very long and had very poor lighting so it kinda reminded me of a scary movie. The room had an odor to it that reminded my husband of a nursing home. On a brighter note, the night staff was always very friendly and helpful. If it wasn't for that I would have extremely disliked this hotel.

The rooms are musty and have a odor, they feel unclean but may be because it is an older hotel. The parking lot is full of large pot holes. The hotel is on "Industrial Blvd" and not in the best part of town. The parking feels unsafe and I would not let my family go out back, to the car, alone nor to the front because of the rowdiness and crowds from the on-site casino. Worst of all they over-charged me, billing my credit card for three nights instead of one. I spoke to the manager several times about the over charge and he assured me he would refund their mistake but after several months, he has not. The hotel manager hides behind his voice mail and will not return phone calls. The hotel manager has been untruthful and unethical in his handling of my complaint and has not provided a refund nor an explanation of why he has not. I am having to go through my CC company and Ramada Inn Corporate to remedy this fraudulent charge. If I can not trust the Ramada Hotel with my financial data nor to honor their word to fix their mistakes, the Ramada Hotel, at least in Bossier City, LA, is not a safe place to do business.

It was good for the price.

Clean and comfortable. Old. The hotel was OK. Going through a remodel. Need to fill the drink machines. I felt a little unsafe when I arrived because of the area hotel was in.
Date of Stay:

First problem I noticed was NO ELEVATOR. This could be a real problem if you have a lot of baggage. I was given a room on the second floor but the door to this room was loose and concerned me. Asked for a room on the first floor and was accommodated. Overall the place is dirty and run down. Varnish peeling off inside room doors, crumbs and dirt piled in corners...could have easily been cleaned with vacuum but appeared neglected for months. Outside door on side of hotel did not lock and remained cracked open... thus no SECURITY. Hotel advertised wireless in the room but not working in my room. Asked about it and was told it was "broken" in the wing where my room was located. When asked if that would soon be corrected, was told by a very disinterested front desk person "someone was working on it". Remained unavailable throughout my stay. Offers hot breakfast in the a.m. Steam table portion had large lids covering food. No handles on the very hot lids. Other than napkins, no protection from steam in attempting to slide lid back for access to food. Very awkward and reflective of lazy staff. There is a casino located in the hotel. Cigarette smoke from that room overpowered the lobby and hallways that led to meeting rooms. This was corrected, however.Best description I can give is this hotel suggests a disinterested and unmotivated owner or possibly hotel chain. Would not stay at this hotel and will probably avoid all Ramadas in the future as this is the second Ramada I have found to be dirty and run down.

Overall, for the price not bad, but the rooms were not completely clean. If you enjoy sleeping on an inch thick mattress that feels like a box spring, then by all means, enjoy.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
The rooms are spacious and great, breakfast is hot and good, beds werevery comfortable. AC kind of loud, not quite enough light if you need it.
Date of Stay:
September, 2007
The hotel staff was friendly and the rooms were OK. If you are staying while participating in a fishing tournament be sure that the hotel has made arrangements for enough boats and power outlets. Handicap rooms are available, but not up to modern standards...have to step into tub and toilet is too low.
Date of Stay:

The hotel was not a bad value for the money, but it desperately needs a makeover. The room was clean, but the front cover was off of the air conditioner (laying on the floor), and the carpet was threadbare. I stayed 4 nights and only got resupplied with soap and shampoo once. Don't bother going to the casino, it's small, dark and depressing.
Date of Stay:

Free breakfast buffet. The bathroom was awful, not enough towels. Has great potential, but needs a makeover in the guest rooms, bath-tubs are stained and walls and carpets are dirty. Lobby is deceiving because it is up-dated, but that's the only place that doesn't look like old.
Date of Stay:
August, 2007
The beds need to be updated . The bed was not soft so if your looking for a soft bed this would not be the place. But overall every thing was clean and the service was nice.

I enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. The room was nice and clean. I only got the room for one night because I had accomodations for the rest of my trip.

There was a fight that broke out in the hallway outside our room and the staff would not help us. They called the cops and instead of the staff taking care of us, the cops escorted us out to the car because we felt unsafe. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone! I will never stay with a Ramada franchise again, also.

"too much to list in 100 words but here's a start. free internet is by moving the mattress & when it could easily been arranged so not to pull the tv plug out of the wall when trying to swivel. One lamp & fridge unpluged with plug to tub broken. dad stayed same day & hated his room no bulbs in lamps & hairs still on bed, blind staff cleans till 8pm. was 15 minutes early & was told to come back after 3pm. not coming back. splochy paint jobs all over & smell it's everywhere! would not bring kids.*$ room paid * & very disappointed!"

The room could have been alot cleaner, there was mold growing on the bathtub. The bedding had a bad smell. The phone in the room was broken. The lobby and hallways had a very unclean apperance. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone EVER.

Location to shreverport. Was way over priced for the quality. This hotel should not charge as much.
