I was not satisfied with this hotel based on the price of the room. The hotel itself needs updating and should also be classified as a motel since all the rooms are on the outside. The carpet in our room was old and worn and wasn't vacuumed well at all. The shower curtain reeked of mildew. The clerk at the front desk was on the phone and it seemed she couldn't be bothered to talk to us both times we needed something. The nicest part about our stay was the continental breakfast. The food was pretty good and was constantly being replaced. The breakfast definitely made up for some of the worse things.

Grimy, stained carpet. Way to expensive for an "exterior access" hotel. Definitely NOT worth the money.

I paid 116.00 for the following: A nasty room crawling with earwigs, the AC didn't work, the bathtub and sink wouldn't drain and to make matters worse, drunken people wandering around the courtyard all night yelling and screaming, so we got zero sleep. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was extremely dirty, mold on the shower curtain, mysterious stains on the walls and the lock on the door was faulty-the desk staff was welcoming and room service was well-priced but when I called to cancel a later reservation no one picked up the phone-manager rudely argued about their 24 hour cancellation policy the next day when I finally was able to get ahold of someone and charged me the full price despite my attempt to contact them within enough time. I am now staying across the street from this hotel when I need to travel to Battle Creek, customer service, cleaniness, and safety should ALWAYS be a priority when it comes to hotel management and I certainly did not experience any of these amentities during my stay at this motel.

The hotel was nice, but very worn. The rooms were old and dark and not very inviting. It was clean. The approach to the office - carpeting, shrubs, grass were in need of work. There were steps to the office and rooms - not condusive to handicap.

The lady checking us in was extremely rude. She acted as if everything she had to do was way too much. She even rolled her eyes and complained that the room should have been * more, but travel agent booked it wrong. The whole place looked dirty and as if no one wanted to invest any money into upkeep. The breakfast buffet was cold and there were no drinks. When we asked for more, we received sighs, but we got them. Our room had cobwebs in all the corners, the tub was DIRTY and the handle to the sink kept coming off.

"While our room was clean and quiet, this motel is not a 3 star. It is old, in need of redecorating. There is a smell in the lobby. The breakfast was way understaffed. Travel website, be more accurate in your ratings!"

"The room was spacious and clean. It was great! A good bargain for the price. However, we had an important message while we were there from my husband's mother, and never received it. She was very ill in the hospital, but I could not retreive my messages, and the desk clerk didn't know how to do it. He was to call back later with the information, but never did. The free breakfast should be free. Most food trays were empty, and drinks were not available most of the time."

"I booked this hotel to stay after a company banquet. You have to walk AROUND the hotel outside to get to your room, the keys didn't work, you coudl scrape ice off of the heater inside as well as off of the door trim. The staff was very polite though- not worth the money...this is a MOTEL not a HOTEL. "

Appearance was in disrepair - looks like they are not keeping up on basic maintenance. Breakfast was also unappetizing. I wouldn't recommend to friends or family.

"The service wasn't bad. They held out on their report for me even when I was getting in past 3am. They did tell me the wrong time for breakfast so I ended up missing it, but I could have double checked the card they gave me. The morning lady wasn't too friendly, but she wasn't mean either. You get what you pay for. The beds aren't real soft, but it's a nice size room with a desk in it. Overall decent experience."
